Fort Vancouver High School students walk out to protest budget cuts

Students at Fort Vancouver High School walked out of class Tuesday to protest cuts to 262 staff positions next year. They made a mile-plus trek on foot to the Vancouver Public Schools headquarters to protest cuts that they say will disproportionately affect their school.

I was there!!! They’re trying to lay off 11 teachers at fort when bay, sky view and river only cut 3,4 and 5 of their teachers!!!

There needs to be a FOIA and a demand for a pay cut on that overpaid Superintendent. Call your reps....
