interesting perception. what could that mean? that they are trying to uphold something dying. nothing against classical music. grieg is amazing. still ... music can only live through a human being. and a human 'being' defines itself through a certain kind of tense. the progressive or continuous one. therfore a being has to evolve to be a being. evolve out of something. sure. but still evolve. step by step. not freeze in set masks. being and therfore evolving are probably the only ways of respecting the way of life. is there respect for humans in this playing and conducting?

it feels off to get a 'heart' and a 'thumbs up' for such an ambiguous comment. one could interpret those words as quite positive, even praising. one could interpret them as neutral, merely thoughts on music and human beings. but one could interpret them in a quite negative way as well. in a way that implies that neither the conductor nor the soloist are living beneath the surface of their body. a body which would as a consequence serve as nothing more, but a mask to hide everything that is and isn't going on underneath. but in the end, it was a question. just a question. and a question shall raise an answer. at least activate a thinking process. ... and doesn't ask for a mere 'heart' and a 'thumbs up'. I don't write for unreflected reactions just for the sake that everything looks good. I wrote that comment to let you reflect on and feel wether there is respect or not ...
