FORTIFIED HACKER + FANGS! - Mechabellum

Did you consider getting full control from the hackers? Hackers always seem sort of synergistic with builds that rely on low damage high RoF units like Fangs/Mustangs since it chips down enemies into hacking range rather than one shotting them and wasting the hack. OP Shielded fangs made no sense. Not sure what they were hoping to achieve there.

@@jordanb722 I typically always grab the barrier and range on the hacker, but rarely find myself taking enhanced control unless the enemy has some big units or if there are units closer to the line. In this scenario I would have preferred to have been running multi hack since there were lots of small units I could have been hacking.

@@countswagula6150 and just skip the range altogether. Honestly yeah that could work especially with all of the speed. I think you would still want mech rage on fangs as well though

I don't get it. how much MMR did your enemy has? you leveled your fang, you upgraded your fang and he built a melting point?? Wouldn't it be better to build and upgrade mustangs?? so phoenix crack shield and mustang kill fangs? Mustangs would also be better against hacker if hacked.

@@JohnDS11 I don't exactly recall their MMR, but probably somewhere around 1900. But I was also a little confused myself when I saw melter in this game. Typically melter doesn't work because it gets distracted shooting its own hacked units. If they took emp barrage at least it would knock out the shields on the hackers, but might as well just use the stormcallers emp and fire since it's better. People have a tough time against this build in general. I think my opponent should have gone fortress with barrier and mustangs since the hackers have a tough time against shields
