Fortinet portal you mean Fortimanager?

If you are talking about Fortimanager the you need to configure the fortimanager ip in the FortiGate under settings=>security fabric

For activating the licence you just need to reguster ur firewall on support portal.. Once ur device is online and is able to reach support portal everything will happen automatically..
