What cable do I need to connect it to my computer? Do I need a USB to USB and plug it on a usb port or a LAN cable with both RJ45 on both ends?

I used a USB to to serial cable then a console cable attached the console port on the firewall.

@@blackburn32197 thank you. Your video is very easy to understand. I'm just hoping that the vendor that installed fortigate didn't disabled the maintainer account, if that happens I have no other choice but to avail their service to reset it right?

hi, if user admin dont exist? 'maintainer' account can only edit existing admins.

Might you help me? Your video helped me but when editing admin it tells me that the user does not exist.
