miku is closer to real music than ai slop. vocaloid producers need all of the skills that "real" music producers need on top that they need to learn how to tune miku, and most vocaloid producers get confident in their tuning style in like 5-10 years,, at least the producers that I know. I play Fortnite but love Hatsune Miku. I was 2 years old when she debuted for the first time as a virtual idol. I was so happy when I heard she was coming to Fortnite. I’m a Fortnite fan, not all of us are kids though I am younger than Miku, I already knew her when she was teased. i worked with the vocaloid, they in fact do have an ai for her, but its FOR her, meaning its not miku and it writes her lyrics and handles how effectively her tone plays out in her songs. the creator for her can simply get anyone to use miku on a song but it costs quite a lot which is why miku is no longer a vocaloid, they are saving so much money by letting an ai make her music so in a way we are getting close to the day when we get a miku with autonomy or free will, basically a sentient miku. ive worked with ai and vocaloids for a while and im doing my best to integrate them to make independent vocaloids that can make their own music when they want. its pretty challenging but with time we can make it happen.

A lot of people don't really know what Hatsune Miku is to begin with. As for example, Miku and any other voice synth are AI based, you can't create an voice bank without AI, just recording is not enough to reach every single pitch that you would be able to tune in the software. Crypton also is going to release Miku v6 this year, and guess what, the voice bank is updated with AI, in fact they announced it as "Hatsune Miku v6 AI", and it goes as same for the new Teto and Una as well. CeVIO releases are heavily based on AI and their voice synth are easily the best we have nowadays. And that's just examples. The thing people don't realize is that the people who gave their voices for the voice synth is not only paid but most of them still have an certain connection to producers and, of course, importers. Another things is how people don't notice how much producers can change voice synth at the point of recognition. As for example, cosMo basically introduced speedcore on vocaloid community due to an bug on Miku v1, Nayutalien discovered he could use Kafu and make the software think she was whispering. On the other side we have pinocchiop and Deco*27 which have their own peculiar tuning that everyone knows it just by hearing. So, saying it's not talent is just bullshit. I whoever, understand why people are so averted to it "being ai", and honestly this is the best, we don't really need people tainting what we have right now. Especially after enduring years after the drama Hachi created with his last song.

Also, voice AI is much more easy to manipulate which showed way more improvement in early stages than art for example. Every single voice synth can be pitched in the software it's just matter if you are good at it or not, this has absolutely nothing to do with VST3/Vocal Style Presets. Yeah, that's exactly what i'm saying, if you tried to be less aggressive and angry you would probably notice it. I also never said it's made by AI, what i said is they are all based on AI and you can't create an voice synth without Ai. Which leads to your incredible crazy comment about Utau. Early utau are literally v1/2 but created by fans, it has the same coding, the same engine, and guess what, it runs the same basic AI on the background to make it work. That's why Utau took so much time to improve because Crypton took actions before people could, once again, copy v3 and onwards. And it's insane that we talking about this when "voice synthesizer" is already the give away it has to work alongside with AI and wave form generation. The problem we having here is that some people act like totally extremists, it's like everything is black or white. It's so sad to see fans like you as same is sad to see those people from fortnite talking shit they don't know, and people need to realize it. And the reality is, it doesn't even matter Vocaloid, or any other voice synth for instance, have AI on it's base. I already put this very clear and i will repeat, everyone involved in the making of voice synths are well paid and well received not only for the community but also from their importers. It's out of my mind that people can be angry about it just to have the illusion of moral superiority, i bet you never bought an voice synth to begin with, please just do better.
