2:14 there actually was a restart button; but due to bugs and crashes, they temporarily removed it (even though it should’ve been fixed by now, idk what’s taking them so long) also I’m assuming that the reason why we don’t have a practice mode is because of its online service hopefully there will be an offline mode where you can play the songs that you have on the go (along with the having all the features in a Rock Band/Guitar Hero game, including practice mode)

i don't think it's possible to have offline mode because these songs aren't actually stored on your computer, they are using audio streaming for that (basically you can listen to the audio without downloading)

4:54 Same for 'Feel Good Inc.' by Gorillaz, they censored the word "Shit" from the line "Shit, I'm steppin' in the heart of this here". But again, in 'Moves Like Jagger' by Maroon 5 the line "I don't give a shit" is left uncensored. It doesn't even make sense

Fortnite festival did have a restart button at launch all though it was removed shortly after because of how buggy it was. I would expect it to return eventually. I have some other nitpicks about the mode but overall its been wonderful

It would be nice if they gave you the option- like a 'quickplay' that lets you just choose a song, or a 'career' mode where you could make a playlist and mess around in the lobby if you wanted. Hopefully someday 🤞

I wish the characters had more life to them. They should be able to move around the stage instead of being stuck in a 3-second idle animation loop. I’m tired of playing vocals and just seeing my skin do the boneless emote while lip-syncing Edit: THEY ADDED NEW ANIMATIONS AND CHANGED THE OVERDRIVE COLOR

I always see Jam Stage at like a max of 1.6k people online at a single time and I really hope fleshes out that game mode more to get more people into it. It's the whole reason I buy the songs. Getting in a lobby and mashing up different songs with people can be ridiculously fun and entertaining

anyone know what happened to the default dances your character do when you sing? i remember they were adding 1 each time they realeased some jam tracks, we had like 3 or 4 and now there are none, your character just sings, other instruments i think they still have dances.

the fortnite festival charting is actually pretty fun but its hard to sink a lot of hours into a rhythm game that can cost over 400 dollars to buy all the songs, this style of shop is fine for battle royale because its just cosmetics but in festival they are paywalling the gameplay, 1 song should not cost 500 vbucks. 😭

Im loving festival, tho i wish the festival passes had vbucks as rewards like the battle pass, as a broke teenager, i could either spend 15 bucks on the festival pass and not make anything back or spend 10 on the battle pass and net gain 500, as for practice yeah def, restarting was there i believe during early season 1 but they got rid of it, as for the censorship, thet kept the word whore in basket case, so yeah its def weird, great vid as always danny, thanks for the cool festival enjoyments

Outside of a few bugs and making jam tracks playable as lobby music, the one big thing I want Fortnite to do is open their horizons to more underground music (Witchgang doesn't count). Just taking a step into the Album Of The Year website introduced me to a ton of incredibly talented artists and bands that aren't as well known as the big mainstream acts we hear about 24/7. Two of my favorites, Magdalena Bay and Jeff Rosenstock, have been featured on the Battle Royale car radio stations as well, so I hope Epic will actually go out of their way to introduce more of these artists to a wider audience. Dragonforce skyrocketed in popularity thanks to Through The Fire And Flames being added to Guitar Hero, so it's not like Epic would instantly suffer by picking music that isn't as well known. They would only suffer if the music is actually bad (like Witchgang until Runaway dropped). Discovering new music that you love is a special experience, and I want the Fortnite Festival community to be able to do the same.

The one thing I want is the ability for my character to play the full song as an emote in battle royale instead of just parts like bass or vocals. I'd definitely buy more jam tracks if I could play all parts of the song at once. Festival is not a mode I'm really interested in because I don't care for rhythm games. The price of the pass is a bit too pricey in my opinion for a single skin and less rewards than the normal battle pass. I'll probably only buy them in the future if there's an artist I like a lot, like Adam Levine. I'd love if Caravan Palace got a Festival Pass, but I highly doubt it.

I feel like there shouldn’t be any of those arrow notes. Most of the time it messes me up even when I try and hit it the game registers that I missed since you can also get the note by letting go of the button instead of hitting it. So the game thinks I let go of the button too early

For what it's worth, they aren't taking any resources away from BR to work on Festival. They bought Harmonix specifically for it, who were likely never working on the BR portion in the first place. Their original statement was "they purchased Harmonix to add new musical experience to Fortnite" Now I can't say the same for Rocket Racing or Lego, those gamemodes are probably using internal studios
