My biggest problem with the event was how anticlimactic the Herald's attack was. It got hyped like it was going to be something really breathtaking in the teasers. And, while the cutscene with her attacking was good, the fact she just completely vanished from the event and left everything relating to the nothing (The faction, the seven being missing, Bytes descent into madness and her objective) pretty much unsolved was sad. The rest of the event was okay, but still feel like it could have been better

That's what I was thinking. When the Cube Queen attacked, she made a big deal out of it and opened up a portal to bring in dozens of UFO's, Abductors, Motherships, and we saw the Last Reality Planet in the distance. When the Herald (who's probably weaker than the Cube Queen) attacked, the map was covered in Chrome than instantly annihilated. Not to even mention that we didn't get to watch the attack in-game, just a cinematic.

I feel like this event can easily be broken down into just 3 parts 1. Herald destroys everything for no reason 2. 40 minutes of pointless quests 3. Literally the only event that was bad. And not only it was bad, it was utter trash. No comebacks, no Geno, not a single explanation about Chrome or the Herald and their connection to the Last Reality. We just got the Herald casually destroying everything like nothing and for some reason, random loopers were able to not only survive, but also form a new reality, who knows how, by completing boring fetch quests in what we could just call a Creative map. I think they just want to get rid of BR for Creative, since they even added a logo specifically for BR in the new trailer. I swear, Creative is always doom for GaaSs. Curse Creative. It has been ruining BR more and more, and now if they wanted to give Chapter 3 criticism even more validity, they did a perfect job. An event with no lore, completely random and looked like a Creative map where you just throw chickens around. Huge disappointment, especially for a literal Chapter finale. Only good stuff was the teasing of motorbikes, Geno and the collabs (S tier stuff but still doesn't make up for a garbage joke event).

Exactly! Creative has been ruining core Fortnite, and I think this event was a way to promote Creative. They don’t bring LTMs, expect creators to make custom br modes themselves and when they actually do it nobody is in there because 1. They expect people to fill in every single gamemode which is not how matchmaking works and 2. Epic throws everything else into trash and in the meanwhile promotes absolute garbage “Pro 1000”, “Red vs Blue”… I had enough of Creative ruining Fortnite, which is why, even though I love Fortnite, I have been looking for other games to play.

All of the teasers this season led up to a minute long cutscene. One of the biggest problems with this event was the fact that it was just running around doing quests for 30 minutes. Another is that it was so heavily teased for almost nothing to happen. I appreciate that Epic tried to do something different, but they failed miserably, and I hope they can learn from their mistakes. Here’s how this event could have been better. A major problem that I had was that this felt more like a Chapter 4 beginning event than a Chapter 3 finale. I thought the event was going to be “we need to stop the Herald from destroying the island” not “The Herald destroyed the island and now we need to put it back together.” Start by putting us in the fight with the Herald, and make it longer. Let us actually be there instead of just showing a minute long cutscene. Second, shorten the next 30 minutes to about 5 minutes, and have pieces of the island constantly coming in, with less and easier zero fragments. If they wanted to keep it where new island pieces were gradually added, make the reforging part a beginning of chapter 4 solo experience like Zero Crisis or the Foundation campfire thing from chapter 3. Lastly. Add some storyline to it! I remember the dialogue got leaked before the event, and I didn’t mind, because I thought it was only a bit of the dialogue. Turns out, that’s all the dialogue there was! Paradigm was only there to complain about Bushranger, and Amie was their to make unnecessary comments when new island pieces arrived. Add The Nothing! You’re telling me the only thing those teasers about The Nothing were leading up to were the Bytes quests? It has no importance to the story? The storyline did not advance one bit here except for the Paradigm’s sacrifice, which was literally just the Chapter 4 trailer. You could explain the entire Fortnite lore to someone, and all you would need to say about this event is “The Paradigm sacrificed herself to put the island together” and it would make sense. The Chapter 2 finale was a huge turning point in the story because it made The Seven the Protagonists. This event had no big reveals, No new information. Nothing. Just Nothing. I guess this is what they meant by “The Nothing.” I just hope Epic can learn from this and continue to make the incredible events that I know they are capable of making in Chapter 4.

The concept was definitely cool - building the new map by pulling parts of it from different realities/loops is definitely a solid idea. But the execution... I'm not sure if doing this in a game with a fanbase who's attention span can fit in a teaspoon is a good idea. The unnecessary side-quests were such a silly distraction, it should've been more focused on collecting the zero point fuel, filled with dialogue and exposition. But hey, Chapter 4 is a thing.

I think the event was overhyped asf. The herald's attack was so pointless, and epic games made all the things we met through the season go to waste. We didnt saw the nothing, bytes just wasnt there. This event was a big waste of lore for me. I feel like this is the kind of sh*t disney would pull of if they bought fortnite, except it was epic games. Another big mistake: a lot of players were kicked out. Cmon man, it was the end of chapter, and it was tested so poorly? I dont know what epic games will have to do to recover from that one. Its just like epic focused more on hyping up the finale than ending the whole thing properly. But i gotta admire graphics and music, those were so good. I think they just did the whole thing in creative 2.0, but that just isnt going to make community entertained. I cant say i didnt enjoy the event, but i definitly expected more from a chapters finale. 5/10

I have a theory. The reason the island had a flip-side is because of the black hole event. Notice how the chapter 1 map had a MASSIVE amount of inaccessible islands around it and a gigantic mountain range. Chapter 2 and 3 never had that. So i think the black hole sucked in all the mountains and the entirety of reality zero, created the chapter 3 map, and then used the extra matter to create the chapter 2 map. And then the Imagined Order came and flipped the island to get rid of The Seven, and put the chapter 2 island in the loop. Then the island flipped back over in Chapter 2 season 8, and when the island was destroyed in fracture. All the pieces came back to form a single island again.

Man that was kinda disappointing NGL, I was hoping for a war between chrome and us, rather than watching trailers and doing weekly challenge type stuff, What I think would have been better is starting, we should have spawned in the reality tree fort with a gun and we had to fight a bunch of The Herald minions that form in the chrome liquid that comes from the tornadoes and they would climb the tree to try to attack us and The Herald would come out of the tornado as it showed and she would have a big health bar and we would fight them until the Herald’s health bar is dead then she turns into chrome liquid and explodes and then regrows with the other chrome and turns giant and chromes the tree, but this time Your squad has jet packs and escape the chrome, when you are in the air, the Herald chromes the tree and quickly it explodes, the explosion sends you flying into space and onto the mini space island when the zero point brings you to it, then you collect zero point fragments like what we already did in the event, which then after enough of the zero point fragments it charges something like a Canon that brings you large objects like a Grab-Atron gun from season 7 chap 2 and you bring new parts of the island to you one after another when you collect zero point fragments, then after that the zero point is renewed and strikes lighting from it and it rolls to the trailer where the new island is built and we wait until we get to play the new chapter tomorrow.

Honestly worst event ever. It was so hyped and what we got was a decent cutscene that destroyed the island where we didn't even get to fight the herald, some lore stuff, no answers to anything including the seven being gone, and a collectathon. This was fortnites longest event but it was just shitty mario 64 with no payoff (also mr beast)

I was kicked out of the first cutscene and had a black screen till the playable part for some reason, so I didn't understand shit. But even with the cutscene, what an unedrwhelming event. What about the Seven? What about Bytes, who's even featured in the event promo but doesn't appear in it? What about the voices in the TVs that talked to him? What about Jones? It feels like all of this was all or nothing and inconsequential. And is the Paradigm alive or dead?

I was in the event and pretty much I had mixed opinions with it. It was fun gathering shards but I was expecting a fight after that. It's not the worst event I have seen/played but it did disappoint me a bit (PLUS WHERES THE ROCK!?!?!?)

The Story was the Last Reality sent the Herald to destroy Reality Zero. She succeeded rather easily and it seems she can simply chrome an entire reality and make it self destruct. If Paradigm didn't step in with her plan of Zero Fusion (Probably what Loop Breaker Project had in mind) The Last Reality would eventually find the Zero Point, Vulnerable with no protection. and The Nothing would have Power over the Multiverse. An Unused Cutscene shows that after the Herald destroys everything a Mothership tried abducting the Zero Point, but the Zero Point broke out probably with Paradigm's Help. Paradigm creates a new Island in the vaccuum of space to keep the Zero Point less exposed that it already is without a Reality to inhabit.

With the Visitor checking out Reality Zero which at the time was being controlled by IO, He leaves probably to tell the others. Than the Last Reality send a Cube, probably trying to do their "Destroy every Reality" Shenanigans, After that Cube explodes, Theres an Ice King who castle housed a Prisoner. They fight, A Vault opens where the Zero Point is being kept, Volcano Erupts and accidentally awakens A Monster Ice King kept frozen. It tries to take the Zero Point by punching the Vault, Mech pulls said Zero Point out and borrows some energy and kills monster and leaves without putting The Zero Point back where it was. Then Season X Happens, Black Hole. Chapter 2.

@@Miwomp Chapter 2 IO still has control even after The Seven dropped a Meteor on top of the Zero Point. This creates 2 islands. The Chapter 2 Island and another beneath it, A team named Ego crash landed there to investigate the island, Midas eventually shows up and creates a Machine to push the Storm. Breaking the 22 minute Loop and making it last forever, sadly this fails and the IO create a Tsunami, during Chapter 2 Season 3 we help some green hair people go back home by fixing their shipamobab, they fly, After they fly, they accidentally opened a Rift, Galactus senses the Zero Point and leaves his destroying planets quest aside to go eat it, Thor trys to stop him but fails, he goes there and gets amnesia and brings other avengers and marvel characters to the island, Stark makes this plan to make a Billion Bus Nukes and make Galactus eat those. Galactus rips the Zero Point out amd starts eating it, Luckily He fell for the Bus trick and eats all of them and gets blown up from the inside. In the aftermath The Zero Point is now Exposed and Damaged. Jones from IO is sent to try to fix the Zero Point and also not let any of the Loopers escape. Everyone is trapped in the Loop. IO Clearly doesn't care when things get worse as the Zero Point's Condition worsens, Jones takes it to his own hands and Calls for Foundation, after some convincing Foundation seals himself and the Zero Point in a Spire. Everything is primal now. A curious man named Raz wanted to discover the secrets of the Spire, ended up getting corrupted by a Cube Artifact and gives directions to a nearby Mothership, how to go to Reality Zero, Mothership comes and nukes the Spire, sending the Zero Point back into the ground, its fixed now. The Aliens then start doing stuff, like abducting loopers, POIs. IO does not like these guys so Slone puts a Million nukes on Corny Complex and the Aliens take it in and blows the mothership up. This backfires as now a bunch of cubes corrupt the map, Cube Queen arrives and then trys to destroy the Island, the Loopers fail pathetically so the Seven carry them to victory via Deus EX Machina as IO have a Gyro System and literally flips the Island, ruining Cube Queen's Plan.

Until earthquakes start happening, Season 2 has the IO drill their way to Chapter 3 and start a whole war by deleting Builds for 2 weeks. Luckily the Seven and Loopers start winning so IO is like "If I can't win than no one can" and Build a Huge Death Machine that will self destruct the Zero Point, Seven and Looper destroy this death machine too and Foundation and Jones goes on fun wacky adventures and kill Geno, few months afterwards Era of Peace after a stressful war. What could possibly go wrong? The Herald: Hello there. Well crap. So during Chapter 3 Season 3 The Scientist is like the only one concerned about a massive tree growing from the Zero Point. Apparently the Zero Point is trying to warn us about someone, he trys to figure it out until Seven Members start disappearing Breaking News: Chrome Lady has invaded the island and has started turning everything to Chrome, The Seven have now become "The Four", That is until Scientist, Origin and Visitor all get turned to Chrome. Paradigm flies out of there and goes somewhere that doesn't have chrome. Wait if she can fly, why did everyone just stand there while Scientist becomes Chrome. Anyway, Paradigm Looper, Jones and AMIE try 46 ways to save the Island and the Scientist. Paradigm has a plan. Sadly though Chrome Lady chromes everything and DBZ Style, Self Destructs Reality Zero, The Zero Point exposed again, Paradigm plays God and builds a new island. Take that Last Reality.
