I don't remember snow on the Chpt 1 map until a couple of seasons in. I dunno, I just remember being excited about the side of the map about Greasy Grove having a snowy area. Then there was the Ice King/Queen and Greasy Grove turned into an frozen lake you could emote/ice skate on.
