Around two minutes into the video, you start talking about how seasons are getting longer and longer, and how there are less features in each new update. I think the reason for this is that the devs have been going through some very very serious crunch and are completely burned out at this point. Epic pretty much had to back down or else the devs would probably just quit entirely.

This story has been circulating for like 3 years with zero proof that it's still an issue in 2022. We don't get nearly the updates we did 4 years ago. So how would anyone be burned out? And I don't feel sorry for these devs. They get paid a TON of money and get 2 weeks of vacation in both summer and for Christmas. There are people working in steel mills and mines that would love a job like that. Military members and police that out their lives on the line for a fraction of the pay.

For me the problem lies with the longer seasons and SBMM (skill based matchmaking.) nowadays it is basically impossible to play a game where you can actually enjoy the game. and the longer seasons honestly make me feel tired and bored and dying to see the next season.

Hey Tommy! I wanted to point out something I realized at the collision event, The start of the underground sequence after we fail to destroy the collider for the first time, if you pay close attention to the zero point you can see the Imagined taking down Gunnar causing them to both fall into the zero point. This is a very small detail that I figured out by rewatching my gameplay. Not sure if you’ve covered this already but if not it would be cool if you could.

My opinion on SBMM, I dont think it needs to be removed, i think it needs to be tweaked so that if your skill ends up declining (mine has been, i feel like a chapter 1 noob now) then so does the SBMM instead of keeping you matched with people that are your peak skill or higher when your skill is declining. If it gets removed, we would get paired with people of same current skill, but would also fill with sweats as well still making the game unenjoyable.

i'm alright with skill based matchmaking, although it would be good if epic had a little feature where it would analyse games to determine whether someone is using new or unexperienced accounts for free xp. maybe it could check over game achievements, and if it was clear they were using it for xp, the unexperienced account could not be party leader when in a lobby with said player. just y thoughts tho :)

They should have a season with a mythic pump and mythic hunting rifle that one shot head shot like the old ones. Make it a boss or a vault thing or both just do that. And have bouncers and shockwaves. Clip city. Add like 4 new locations with 4 changing locations, tilted pleasant greasy the ppl favs stay, everyone freaks out and has content for a longer duration of time and you add in more storyline and locations when it gets dull????

It’s because they were too OP, pump more so than tactical, they put the shotgun cooldown in for a reason, double pump, the tactical is extremely fast and if you reload one bullet and then shoot, it shoots at I slightly lower speed but it’s still fast

What about the damage tweak they did to snipers and shotguns, especially the pump which does crappy chip damage if you hit body shot, or the .50 cal which does not take one shot kills anymore. The only one-shot gun in the game is the golden bolt which is nice and sucks simultaneously. Like everything else, they are likely going to mess up the damage again. (Note: I know they tweaked other guns as well, but I'm more concerned about the weapons stated above.)
