i'm glad you're honest about your thoughts on this compared to OG. i'll admit it is still fun, even if incredibly underwhelming in comparison. (i’ve come to edit this. i actually feel WORSE about this now than i did before. for some forsaken reason, the boss NPCs are recruitable and ridiculously overpowered. i’ve lost so many late games due to their aimbot and huge health bars. these NPC’s weren’t even added until season 5 of chapter 2, so i haven’t a clue why they’re here. and to those saying i’m blinded by nostalgia: i’m very nostalgic for chapter 2 as well. however i dropped it halfway through for a reason. it did not have the staying power that chapter 1 had.)

@@LordofMuffins179 It's not about how much more content there is, it's about how it feels and this doesn't feel like a celebration of fortnite's past like season OG. Despite how fun it is everything feels extremely the same even with old weapons and items because there isn't enough of a fundamental difference between chapter 2 and the ones succeeding it to make this season feel special or unique. Add on the insane product placement and you have a really hollow product. It's sadly not nostalgia talking, still a lot of fun though.

I started in chapter 2 season 1 and my biggest problem other than there is no good movement (other than the grappler) is that finding epic and legendary items in chests is rare BUT I can find a purple pump as floor loot.... to me that makes no sense.

Sorry, I have really really tried to like remix but no. Great if you do, if you have nostalgia or its a good fit for your play style I hope you have a great time, having started in late Chapter 4 this seems a bit 'clunky?' to me I can't get in to the rhythm of the weapons or running across fields for ages, might not help that SBMM may have dropped me in the deep end but hell this new reload solo's loving it!! no idea about the map (other than vague recollections from the OG season, I was still learning back then) snappy but can still play tactical and some Strat's will still work, and when I get eliminated its because I know I could have done better in a particular situation basically a lot more FUN. Hmmm is this not what I lot of commentators keep saying keep Fortnite front and center and not the collabs.

If you look at the OG season and chapter 5 season 1, Fortnite had an average of over 3 million players online at the same time, after that the game fell again, in the last season there were a maximum of 900k players playing on a weekend, not even Fortnite Remix has as much hype as Fortnite OG had it and that says a lot in my Opinion

I love Reload but I feel like having the Reload map and weapons, and OG last year, kind of hurt the launch of Season 2 Remix compared to OG last year. Like if we didn’t have Reload (which again I mostly play) and went only from Chapter 5 BR to this it would feel more special but Reload to this is less so
