I _really_ hated this season when it started, but it’s definitely grown on me, especially after they fixed the movement speed and removed some of the snow on the map. This season was the first season I started playing Ranked, too, because I got tired of fighting bots. I was an unranked Zero Build player before this season, but now I’m Elite rank in builds. Epic cooked with this season.

There is actually a theory (but majority of people believe its real, since some pro players and content creators have shown how it works) that fornite has a special matchmaking system made with the sole purpose of making you play more, rather than rewarding you for how good you are, and it works like this: The game puts you on you very first games of the day with lobbies full of bots or really bad players, making you win most of the times, this will make you want to play more to win more, at some point the game will now put you with actual real players and the level will rise the more games you play (some people even reported playing in lobbies full of pro players) now the game wants you to lose, to make you frustated that you lost, thus it will make you want to play more to win again like in the bot matches you had before, after some matches, in order to avoid that you leave the game for losing to many matches, the game will put you again with bots or really bad players, to make you win and to trick you monkey brain that you are good at the game, then it will begin the cycle again. Its a matchmake made with the sole purpose of making you play a LOT of time
