It's because epic wants you to pay more upfront imo because you may end up paying more before the bundle comes back to the shop if you didn't get the skin in its initial release season. That mixed in with the shops issues and the bugs from old cosmetics in the new game modes on top of recalibrating them for the new modes epic is trying to capitalize on what needs to be fixed. Only other theory would be they are trying to push out as much cosmetics as they can while leaving out whatever hasnt/can't be fixed once it has a lego form

Epic is being greedy. Separating pick axes and gliders from the bundles has nothing to do with Lego. Epic is trying to squeeze more money out of the players. What happen to all of the locker bundles we used to get? Unless it involves modes Epic wants to promote, we are not getting the big value bundles anymore.

Fortnite needs to take some notes from THE FINALS. Embark, the studio behind the finals, constantly gives out free skins and items, has a shop system without rotation so you can buy anything whenever you want, and you can buy items individually or in a bundle. Not to mention the fact that you get 5 dollars worth of ingame currency just for making an account.

How do they want us to buy cosmetics when they aren’t all in the shop and the “new bundles” aren’t selling all the items because of a reason that doesn’t make sense. The prices increased and the bundles in the shop subtracts some items and the bundles are priced without the other items. Then when those cosmetics eventually return, you have to pay for that to when it could’ve just been in the bundle when you bought it. The new vbuck prices don’t match the new bundles.

The easiest fix Epic can do for this is just add "Not/not yet compatible with Lego Fortnite" to the item description. Change it when/if the item does become compatible down the road. That way they can still sell the stuff and it won't be false advertising or whatever their concern is.

Several emotes that don't have LEGO support already appear in the store MULTIPLE TIMES. Examples are the Master of Puppets emote, which is currently in the item shop, or the Eminem emote, which recently appeared. We all know why Epic doesn't release bundles in the Item Shop...

Probably, if enough streamers and people express their discontent with that dumb decision, maybe there's a chance that Fortnite will back out from their decision to continue with this crqp. After all, people weren't happy with the things not being able to be used in certain maps because of ratings and they listened and removed the ratings thing and when people complained about the car mods and stuff being broken, they tried to balance things out with some new weapons like the tow hook cannon, so I think, if Epic sees that everyone hates this new "feature", they will not continue with it. That’s why I’m so glad I bought these icon bundles when they first released because you never know how the item shop will change. A lot of aspects of the game changed. Prices increased for vbucks, rarities got removed, locker UI is completely different and is confusing compared to the old design, recent new skins overpriced, item shop rotations are horrible and the same items, some gameplay items are OP and overused(Car turrets, grenade launchers, and nitro fists, sbmm is inaccurate. Fortnite has really changed things that weren’t broken to begin with. I’ve honestly been playing more Festival than BR. These bundles being completely in shambles for an over used reason being they aren’t supported in Lego mode is chaotic and doesn’t make sense. Pick axes aren’t in Lego and neither are gliders but they are perfectly sellable. The game is a mess right now, the gameplay is just horrific right now with nothing but car fights and people that over use nitro fists to go through every build you place no matter the material.

Honestly I don't see a big problem with the system, it allows me to buy what I want without buying a whole bundle, I go for emotes and small pickaxes, a few skins from time to time, I would rather keep the shop the same, it allows for separate items to be bought, rather than waste money buying in game currency to get a bundle, and the prices have increased, 13,500 used to be 79.99, now it's 89.99, 90 bucks for just getting a bundle, nope, rather do that for individual items, while saving the rest.

Pretty simple: No bundle, no purchase. I'm so bummed out with Epic's handling of the Item Shop (among other annoying BR issues) that's I've cut WAY back on purchases. Heck, even my playtime is a lot less the last two seasons. I've enjoyed this season more than the previous two (post patch), but I'm just not really feeling this chapter at all. In addition, just last year they fumbled every major holiday event. I love playing Fortnite with my friends, but it just hasn't been the same since Season OG ended. I am glad to see mini-events making a comeback at least.

Us: why isn't the Ali a emote back? Epic: because it doesn't work in the Lego mode and only works in the br mode so we can't sell it just the other hundreds of fan favorite cosmetics that will never return because they don't work in the Lego mode.

Why can’t they just do separate item shops were you can only see the Lego one in the item shop tab when you select the Lego mode

Bruh they should just update the shop to where what ever mode your on it only shows items for that mode. Like for rocket racing if you were on that mode and go to the item shop, you get well offers for the cars and some skins. Epic needs to realize that even though they have these modes they can’t just change the item shop just for these modes. Yeah have offers for all the modes, but don’t ruin the battle royale part of the item shop because you can’t use a gun wrap or certain emote for a Lego figure.

As everyone says, since Lego was added the shop as been horrible. Bundles being split, costing more if everything is in the bundle and missing items. The only skin Im really waiting for is Arcane Jinx then I'm probably done with the shop for the most part.

I personally don't believe this is real. If this were really the case then there wouldn't be an item shop. Many skins and emotes still don't have Lego versions that have appeared in the shop recently, many skins have alt styles that aren't compatible with Lego, car skins can't be used in Lego STW or Festival, and all kinds of other examples of how Epic have broken this "rule" in the last month alone. If this really is their actual reasoning, then they're lying because I refuse to believe that EVERYONE at Epic is so incompetent that they wouldn't have noticed they were breaking their own rule.

I think it all comes down to MONEY. they wouldnt make as much money if they bundled everything together, than selling everything separately. So thats why they are selling things separately, so they can make more money and so they can work out the compatibility issues as well

I think you’re on to something. The price of V-Bucks went up some time ago, but looking at the prices of the Avatar bundels, The Employee bundle, and the original prices of cars (about 4000 V-Bucks)… It has just been about money this entire chapter

In my opinion, i believe it’s intentional look at the price’s they tried to get people to pay for Lego’s and remember cars when they started selling them they were asking 4500 vbucks till people said hell No. I’m glad as always you’re looking out for us. Ty. 😅

This isn't to do with Lego at all (or at least not entirely). It's to do with Epics clear greed. They will separate them so you are forced to pay more. They release pickaxes which are only usable in ONE MODE. all emotes are usable in two modes.

I see many flaws in this logic. Wraps arent compatible at all in lego or rocket racing, emotes dont work in rocket racing, car cosmetics dont work in lego, lego kits only work in lego, pickaxes only work in zero build/build modes, etc. so many cosmetics limited to certain experiences and other than skins nothing will ever be 100% cross mode compatible and even so some skins arent compatible with lego

I'm sure Epic realized correctly that "We can sell separately sell items, but they will think we're being greedy, or we can sell bundles and people will complain they have to buy more than they want and Epic is being greedy." So they picked one for ease of programming. They should have alternated them - one cosmetic set is the outfit and a separate item, another is someone else's bundle. And then alternate the sell type with time so everyone eventually gets what they want. The message they have sent is that they're not doing bundles any more, which I doubt is true..

I’m still waiting for something good to come to the item shop this season. Thus far the only thing that I liked was a vehicle skin for the jeep. The Metallica stuff is kind of cool but I’m not sure I’d run any of those skins in game, so they’re only kind of cool. But who knows, maybe we’ll get Trunks, more Star Wars and something else that’s cool like Final Fantasy, more Fallout would also be welcome. So I’m keeping an eye out.

Makes sense Anakin's bundle didn't return until recently. Before that the skin was sold separately and some items didn't returned either
