I’m leaning VERY towards the ice situation being Godzilla! I’m a Kaiju fan and I’m sure I’ll sound biased, but Godzilla has been frozen in ice often before bursting out. Not to mention, the next film Godzilla x Kong has him doing exactly that along with sitting in a Greek style colosseum, dropping close to the next big update. In that canon, the monsters are seen as gods with connections to human mythology, being dubbed as “titans”. All this and Godzilla’s 70th anniversary being this year, I am strongly leaning towards this

I personally think that the Greek god Boreas would be an amazing fit for what emerges from the sliding ice where the plane crash is, since he is the god of the North Wind, and winter. However, this is unlikely as he is not as popular of a Greek god as ones like Athena and Zeus.

We are also supposed to be receiving a live event that will conclude this season and launch us into season 2. I recall in one of top5gaming's videos that he stated that leakers have found files relating to those of a live event with the live event bringing us into downtime (NOT referring to the earthquake mini live event) I can't wait to experience an in-game season ending live event!! in fortnite the new battle pass on festival there is a soundtrack called bloom and it looks like the zero point fully fixed in chapter two season 5 which if I remember correct the live event was called bloom also at the beginning of chapter 5 there was a giant monster foot in the snow monster vs robot v2 technically

I wish they would make the bonus Battle Pass skins better like they used to be. Like the one from Season 7 with the multiple styles that unlock after you complete challenges, it looks crazy too. Now they just throw in a pop culture icon, started with The Rock and then The Witcher, and now Snake. I do like Snake but it's pretty boring with only 2 styles, he should've been a main battle pass skin not the bonus one

Just as a heads up the Snakes and Stones pack got modified in this update which I’m guessing is so that it can show off the LEGO version of Lyra in the shop and the timing is too perfect cuz she received a LEGO version in the final update before Chapter 5 Season 2 which is all but confirmed now to be based on Greek mythology and Lyra could return as early as next month since she’s based on Medusa. 🐍

As long as they don’t play it safe. If I was in charge I would add powers like Zeus thunderbolt and posidens trident that have their specific element power etc. Next I would add a hell biom, broken ships in the water, the sky where it’s like a heaven/cloud biom, etc. I would also make it where to get the powers you have to defeat a boss like Zeus to get the thunder bolt but make the npcs have a virety of different moves so it’s not boring. Side note i would make the power actually good like the tmt mythicks. Next I would add like a dragon or other Greek mythology animals so you can ride them but make the damage like 25 damage so it’s mainly just for traversal. And for the last thing I would do is add new good weapons. Or if they don’t do mythic powers for some reason then put it on the gun. Also add new vehicles and movment like wall jumping and first person and swinging off of stuff. Oh and one more thing for real I would try to fix the storyline and have a good end of event that leads us straight to the next season and not where you have to wait a whole day. If that couldn’t happen then just have a mini event and Fortnite’s already adding weather changes which is great but make it good. Anyways sorry for the long post and take notes fortnite I know you can do most or half of the stuff I said especially now that you have unreal engine 5! You have so much potential and things you can do for this season don’t play it safe or screw up. Make the batte pass good

Another Teaser, the new reward for watching the FNCS for 30 minutes is the backbling shown in the bundle. It is called 'finals Aegis Backbling. The Aegis is is a device carried by Athena and Zeus, variously interpreted as an animal skin or a shield and sometimes featuring the head of a Gorgon. Zeus and Athena are greek and that is next seasons theme :)

I adore greek mythology and have since I was a child, I'm looking forward to it personally. That said I'm not a huge fan of the direction they took some of the skins. Some of them look really cool but others like Artemis and Aphrodite I feel could've been done a lot better, especially for who those gods are.
