Why does everyone keep saying “this pretty much means the old battle passes won’t return.” There is zero evidence to support that claim, a remix doesn’t mean anything, last season we had a remix and then got the season shop. And did everyone forget that the battle passes are in a folder called “offer catalog,” or the surveys asking people if they wanted old battle passes to return, or the universal OG edit style color schemes? And y’all probably don’t even know that a small leaker went into the game files 2 days ago and found that the entire season 2 battle pass assets have been updated to return. Everybody is jumping to a conclusion with no evidence, and a whole lot of things pointing in the opposite direction.

@@fiveskins I’m going to work in a few hours, but unlike the people with zero attention span, I have the ability to write a paragraph giving real evidence instead of walking into conversations with no research, no evidence, and claiming “battle passes aren’t returning 🤡”

A lot of the leakers also mentioned the fact we could not get the battle passes in the shop. Like I said in the video not everything I say will be correct straight away and I'm making more as soon as more leaks get posted because we only have screenshots, unreleased items and cosmetics etc. But I think I did see some video from a guy TommySwords saying that the battle passes might've been updated for the item shop, but the majority of voiceovers for this video were recorded like 3-4 days ago so don't expect me to know that everything I talk about is 100% confirmed or not. I worked on this as soon as the first teaser was posted by Fortnite

@@Mineluke You good man, I’m not blaming you or saying you’re doing a bad job. It’s a genuine question though, why do people just say, it’s “confirmed” not returning. There is no proof or evidence of that. Hypex himself confirmed he was speculating about that. Plus they said that last season about remixes and the season shop, did people already forget about that? I don’t get it.

Yeah, people keep jumping to this conclusion that it’s not returning, but they have zero evidence. When Hypex said, this means they aren’t returning, someone asked him why, and he says, “I just don’t see them doing 2 battle passes.” Since when was an opinion fact. And meanwhile they discredit our facts and evidence as speculation, even though Epic is the one who brought the battle passes back to the files, who sent surveys about old battle passes returning, who made universal OG edit styles and so on.

@@Mineluke No worries. Also, I thought you might be interested, they teased the return of the season 2 battle pass in the OG season 1 trailer. At the end in the supply drop picture, you can see the Blue Squire gliding in, and he’s the only battle pass skin and I think the only skin not from season 1 in the whole trailer. They used the trailer to tease Renegade Raider, and people didn’t notice Blue Squire till recently. It’s definitely possible that it’s a teaser, I don’t see any other reason why they would put him there.
