It was the first season i was able to properly start playing the game again, i did play in season 5 but not all that much, sadly however that the point i was able to play the game again it was late into season 8 so i didn't actually get much done in that season, at least compared to season 9. Keep in mind i was in primary school at the time!

Not a word to describe it. It was also the season I first joined and the tear 1 hybrid skin is the skin I always use. It in general is what made me love playing fortnite. Without the moments I experienced within that season, I don't think I'd be playing today. Fortnite og's version was a joke though(I mean chapter og not 1)

The extreme hate for chapter 1 is just a response to the equally extreme nostalgia for the chapter. There’s definitely a middle ground to be found here; chapter 1 was excellent for its time, but times have changed, and Fortnite has adapted to changing consumer expectations.

Season 8 will ALWAYS be my favorite season ever. 1. Best version of Ch1 map with desert and jungle biome, but still had Tilted. 2. Ballers, pirate cannons, glider redeploy and geysers! 3. Bomb battle pass that was FREE. 4. Short season, as all Ch1 seasons were. 5. Buried treasure. 6. Air Royale. 7. Avengers.

Season 8 of Chapter 1 is something I will forever cherish, specially since it was the season I officially started to play, and it being the skin I use as my main [that being Hybrid], not to mention I miss the volcano, the key force location, and blackhearts location, everything this season had to offer when I played it when I was between 13-14 is something I will forever cherish

Watching this vid genuinely made me smile it made me remember and relive those times and when I had to grind the quest in season 7 to get the free battle pass for me and my brother because he said the quests were too hard and this was probably my favorite season out of all them just the fun I had playing with all my friends in 5th grade getting on at 6 am to get some games in before school was just so nostalgic. Its sad to see that eras was canceled and slowly watch Fortnite lose its charm over the years. Hope the new doom season is good!

Sunny Steps and Lazy Lagoon along with the volcano was just the perfect place on the map, with the temple vibes with the new trap ALONGSIDE with the lava and pirate vibes which is all 3 just under the hot climate section which makes it so perfect and *nostalgic.*

I remember that challenge with "Deal damage to opponents with a Pirate Cannon" Legit the best and most fun day i have had with my friends, just running around Lazy lagoon and trying to hit someone, but all players alos ran around with the cannon. We did it in Team Rumble, and everybody was kind enough to let us all do the challenge xD Season 8 is my most favorite season of them all. 100%

Season 8 was the first season I played the way through (I started just after the ice king event in season 7), and wow. It was a blast. Lazy lagoon is probably one of my favourite drop spots ever, only really beaten out by the shark, rickety rig and happy hamlet. The volcano was such a unique landmark and we probably won’t ever get anything like it again. Also, season 8 added the boom bow which is without a doubt my favourite weapon of all time. I remember when it came out me and some friends hopped in creative only using the boom bow to fight eachother and I absolutely destroyed them. The addition of the legendary and epic infantry rifle was also great, founded my love for them. Shadow bombs were awesome, loved those. Pirate cannons were so good for early rotation, one of the best things ever added. Season 8 was just amazing. Plus I got the battle pass for free because of the valentines event at the end of season 7 so that was great.

My favourite seasons are all of chapter one, the first 3 seasons of chapter 2, and Vibin'. Idk what was so good about Vibin' maybe it was the big tree, maybe it was those loot plants you could grow and gather good loot across different matches, but it was oretty damn cool. I remember me and the boys planted the plants on one of the random obscure islands where nobody went so we were guaranteed good loot and a good chance at surivival into late game.

I also recalled playing Endgame & Air Royale, the latter's existence actually causing me to get my ONLY wins in Chapter 1. I really loved Air Royale and would WANT to see it return. ive always loved season 8, i loved the tropical rainforest biome with the several pirate themed outposts around the map coupled with the aztec shrines litered across the tropical biome, the hotsprings, the way tomato temple like blended into the side of the volcanoe along with the obvious pirate town which was amazing, but most importantly i loved the volcanoe especially the outside of it with the stream the went into the underpass, it was just sooo sick and i wished that chapter 4 season 3 would revive this but sadly it didnt (i personally think because of the absence of much tropical-ness and the transformers colab) however i did think the lootpool was blighted with gold weapons with especially the treasure maps. but i did genuienly love this season and always will (also the excavation sties set up to find the vault was sooo cool too)

Still my favorite season without a single doubt in my mind. Easily the most fun I've had in a game since like 2011 in Kirby's Return to Dreamland, which, I mind you, is my literal favorite game of all time, even as I'm only a month from becoming 20 years old. This season will always have a soft spot as one of the most enjoyable periods of gaming in my life, even if I never won a single game.
