Seems to me like the Storyline is really picking up steam now! We've got characters from 3 seasons sticking around and helping contribute to the story! Hope and Jones from Season 1 as well as The Oracle from Season 2. We've got direct links and references to past seasons (and chapters) as well as mini-events and map changes to reflect it all! And now we're getting ACTUAL VOICELINES for flipping Dr Doom! AND it sounds like his plan contains multiple phases too! A rare trait in a Fortnite Villain when the last 3 spent all season working towards step 1! (Valeria spent all season looking for Pandora's Box, Zeus waited till the last moment to strike down Mortals, and Megalo Don took his SWEET time with his Nitro Pipeline) It's an interesting paradox that Hope seems to find herself in. She's supposedly DESTINED to defeat Doom, but at the same time doesn't know HOW (and neither does the rest of the Fortnite Community). Especially with just how powerful Doom appears to be what with shredding nearly every Marvel Character there is. But I guess the answer lies right here. Doom's power comes from Pandora's Box which seems to be corrupting him (or trying to). He used the Box's Power to defeat all those Marvel Characters, but he can't risk using it again unless he's prepared, leaving Hope plenty of time to strike. Also, I'd imagine taking your power source from something tied to Prophecies and Legends is also risky here since it leaves Doom open to losing by fate (as Hope mentions). So he needs to become powerful enough to circumvent DESTINY ITSELF! Which leads into my point about Doom's seemingly multi-step plan. Right now he's busy building his new armour which I suspect might be finished by the time the first update of the season comes out. Since that's when his skin is supposed to release, and might lead to the Boss at Castle Doom being changed and coming with new Mythics/ Powers! I expect his next goal after that will be to either find the Zero Point (a more powerful and reliable source of Godly Powers) or to harness Pandora's Box's powers to create the Perfect Society! 1:54 Remember that Doom doesn't know he's being recorded here, is this how he normally talks? ...To himself? We've got plenty to do and not a whole lot of time to let it all unfold! Can't wait to see where this all goes next!
