The Veiled Precision SMG is so overpowered when in me or my teammate’s hands. Most of the time me and my teammates have been carrying the blade, a shotgun, the Veiled Precision, and the void mask. We have barely touched ARs this season because the movement is so good and the SMGs are so accurate. I enjoy the ARs but I personally just carry the Veiled Precision.

I think an issue with this season that will show over time is the lack of diversity in a "good" loadout. Everyone will be running the sentinel pump and holo twister AR as there's no better weapons, and then have either a void mask or typhoon blade depending on what they find. I wish they would add a sniper or something to make some diversity in the loadouts, as well as nerfing the holo to make it more even with the fury.

The Surgefire SMG is pretty similar to the Devotion in Apex Legends, it gets faster as you keep firing it and has a reverse bloom effect, I like both it and the Veiled Precision SMG this season

Oni shotgun is incredibly underrated, but its big issue is that it's not good at close range, rather being better at mid range. Im not sure how good it is in build mode, but in no build its actually much better than you said. Obviously a shotgun should be good at close, and the main issue is the bad damage, but I dont think Epic intended it to be your primary weapon for close range. My biggest piece of evidence to this is that the mythic has faster switch speed, so I'm led to believe its meant to be used as a quick switch weapon when youre spraying with an AR or SMG. Also in zero build, the higher range helps tons more.

That Holo AR is one of the most broken weapons i've seen in any game. If you have a bit of Aim, thats a guaranteed laser. And not to forget that this Map is full of mountains and Open fields.

I'm usually glad when Epic listens to the community, but I think the community was wrong about this one. It takes about 2 weeks for the hype to die down, for casual players to start being more critical of a season, but let's see how people enjoy an entire season (neither less a full Chapter) with a hits an first person AR in the loot pool.

@@BigPro1123 Its never fair. Reiss made a video on the hitscan topic, so i will kinda just say what he said there. Bloom has the problem that on 50m+ its just impossible to hit shots while spraying cuz the bloom spread is just too big to hit and bloom is really just rng based. To solve this you would need a scoped weapon but all of the scoped weapons with hitscan were op. So we Epic had to come up with a nerf and thats either bulletdrop or recoil pattern. Epic chose bd because memorizing every single pattern for each gun would be a complete pain. And boom there it is very efficent nerf.

My stances with this season is that, this is a fun season and looks to be good, but there are guns that are too good and two of the shotguns need a buff. With a tangent on the general state of the BR mode Oni really needs a buff, give the Double Barrel a flat 5 point damage increase, increase the fire rate as well to be a quick burst, and increase the headshot mutliplier up to x1.5 from x1.1 or x1.15. Unlike the gatekeeper, this shotgun cannot get a mag increase so it does need some buffs to be strong but to be a all or nothing shotgun, where it should have a reload nerf if these changes are too strong. Twin Barrel shotgun, either similiarly needs a damage buff or increase the fire rate by 10-20%. It just feels sluggish for a automatic shotgun, which while I want it worse then the Pump, it shouldn't be replaceable by said Pump. Precision SMG does need a sharper falloff and increased recoil. Its really good, and it feels more like a rifle then it does a smg, which shouldn't be the case. Holo Twister needs a damage nerf, drop the shot damage to 24 for a gray up to 29 for legendary and critical multiplier should be x1.75-x1.9 from x2. It's currently just getting to be too much, and as players get adjusted to the firearms, this rifle will get to be genuinely overpowered. the damage drop makes it's thresholds be 7-9 shots from the current 6-7 shots so players have more brevity with the rifle while the Fury has stronger close-mid range capacity to rip up opponents. ------- General change suggestions to the current Battle Royale mode Bot Players need improvements to their AI, give them more accuracy so they're not just a lootbag. The current bots aren't good and need to be improved so that players can have a better skill retainment when getting into fights, they feel unrewarding since half a lobby is them and when you do fight players they're likely going to be sweats. Siphon needs to come back, but should only grant health on kill for the first two waves and Health/Shield afterwards. Third parties are way too rampant in my opinion, due to Visual Audio, Vehicles, Blink Mask, Shockwaves, and Typhoon Blade and if the mobility is gonna be high, then the game should have siphon return because Third parties are just too frequent to not justify Siphon.

They really need to rework the holo AR and the precision smg in my opinion. I am glad hitscan is back but i dont get why we have scoped hitscan. The way i always saw it was that bloom balances hitscan, and bullet drop ballanced scopes. Now we have two weapons with scopes and hitscan, but no bloom or bullet drop. The Smg does have pretty extreme damage fall off but nothing is in place for the AR thats significant.

I am not much of a solo’s player, I generally like to play with friends and such cus of me not vibing with weapons in loot pools and not feeling confident. Throw that out the window this season I feel confident with every weapon this chapter and season and there is this one place I found that is very secluded that has a slurp truck and is near a shrine so I can immediately get myself the wind boon cus I rarely if at all when playing casually use cars, I find them as such a boring playstyle and that extra movement speed really helps me play on the outskirts and dead zones of the zone, phenomenal loot pool

Maybe i am alone on this one, but i genuinely hate the weapon pool. You have two useless shotguns, no snipers, but the real issue is that the guns are so accurate that you go out of a box for a second and instantly spray and most of your hp is gone It makes fighting in the lategame especially insanely annoying, since you can just get sprayed from multiple sides and due to the weapons accuracy you just get beamed and die in an instant

I quite like the sure-fire smg especially if you're rolling up to 3rd party. Say someone has a wall infront of them start spraying and once the wall breaks its in full spray mode and hits them hard

you slept hard on the surgefire, so far all matches i won was carrying it, for a sighted weapon icarry the twister and i use smgs to, well, spray, if a opponent is moving fast and close, you're not gonna be aiming the veiled and instead hipfiring, and this guns excells at hipfiring my ideal loadout is shotgun- surgefire-twister

I think the Typhoon Blade is going to be oppressive this season. None of the shotguns in the loot pool right now are able to counter it that well. The Oni can't kill a blade rusher in 1 mag unless you're very lucky. The Sentinel pump fires slowly and so if you miss a shot on the blade guy, as you're likely to do since spamming the trigger tends to fling the user around quite a bit, you're dead. And the auto shotgun is garbage tier this season. I've started trading out my shotgun slot for an SMG since I tend to match up better against blade users with that than with the shotgun. What this season really needed is a tac shotgun that fires quickly for good body shot damage, to hit those crazy blade kamikazees.

The surge fire smg reminds me a lot of the Hyperion weapon brand from borderlands. Same gimmick as the smg: the longer you shoot, the faster and more accurate the gun becomes

The Night Rose Medallion was also pulled straight out of reality augments, but is stronger. There were augments that gave medium or shotgun amm while you were sliding, aptly called *Munitions Slide* and *Shell Slide* for thier respective ammo types

Its actually possible to re pickup the wind sprites. If you have a floor above you you can hit yourself allowing you to walk in the wind tunnel. You have to be fast but if you can break the roof above, you pick up the sprite, and go in and out of the wind tunnel you can use it with the sprite in your inventory.

Sword damage is honestly ridiculous IMO. Unless you hit a 170+ sentinel pump on that first moment they get into your box, it’s nearly impossible to outdamage as they have insane movement around you while it takes like 4 swings to kill you

I would say the centralisation of the AR meta was something that was happening since the introduction of Red Dot Weapons, i think all red eye ar's should be Bullet Drop while scoping in with the sight but that might just be me

Both the Surgefire and Fury are insane in Zero Build. Ik that's not where the comp scene is but most casuals are on ZB, so Epic has to balance their weapons for both modes.
