The dmr is a great weapon, you just need to shoot very fast, it’s when you space the shots that it doesn’t work, when the target is in movement you need to predict where the bullet is gonna hit.

So pretty much "projectile weapons are actually good, you just gotta lead your shots". I've used the dmrs for a while, so I am on your side, but the problem with the dmr is not design-wise, it's balance-wise compared to other ARs!

Why though would you use something that’s technically not bad but takes a whole extra level of precision over any of the other scoped hit-scan ars? Just like means more work for the same results and seems also limiting in regards to accuracy at range, and at that point like 150m+ either a sniper or the twin mag ar are gonna be better (easier to use, more reliable) 100% of the time

@@FriskyPotat0 First off, that dmr as well as all the dmrs are garbage. As much as I loved using the original dmr, there were always more powerful options, and dmr players now either are suuuuper casual or aren't ready to face the truth. Sure "technically" they are good, but that's really hard to say in the state of balance this games been in, but you still are right. And 2nd off, dmrs are popular because of being accessible to controller players, unlike every other AR with terrible recoil.

Idk why but some guns are easier to control on controller, same w recoil. Gunnars smg and any dmr is acc amazing on controller. Solid damage output and aim assist goes crazy

the damage or fire rate isnt the issue on the DMRs (unless ur the Standard DMR), it’s the bullet speed being so slow, if you cant hit good shots from a range they’re suppose to be at least decent at then they wont be good in general DMRs though have seem to do good with standard rifle damage, the accuracy of a Red-Eye/Scoped Rifle but with the power of an ordinary rifle the Cobra takes after the Infantry Rifles and the Thermal takes after.. nothing really? just like a slower scar but stronger i guess imo if they just tried to speed up the trajectory for DMRs (and Auto Sniper cuz that’s practically a DMR too) then it might actually do something for the game

For me the twin mag AR has given me the most trouble so far this season, I play on Xbox with controller and every time I use that gun after like 2 bullets the recoil is just slinging it all around my screen in a completely uncontrollable way. The mk AR was the complete opposite, I could straight up aimbot people with it even from over a 150 meters away. It’s crazy because it seems like the same type of weapon except just twin mag but naw.

@@roberthill6738ive had the same problem but my solution was not to hold down the trigger to use it as an automatic, i tend to use it in single shots instead kind of like a dmr but faster, since it does enough damage to use a little bit slower

I tried using it in a match once not expecting much and I was absolutely shredding people. As long as you're able to predict where the enemy is going, there's a 90% chance you're killing them on the spot. That's why it's basically an insta kill if you manage to catch someone off guard.
