Welcome aboard the bus Mike. I used to bash on this game until about a year ago my friend said they have zero build now on Fortnite ..a group of us middle aged guys play every other night and now we’re hooked.

I was never one to bash on it. Even when the game had the forts I played it sometimes I was just bad at building the forts. Now that it has this mode it's a lot more up my alley. Also, if you do play this a lot, let me know when TMNT skins come back if they ever do.

Tips. 1 if you crouch, they can’t see your footsteps. 2. With the claws when your purple bars filled pressing L3 you get a supercharge run and dash

you CAN mute copyrighted music (emotes) so that is ~90% of the emotes.

Mr Roper skin only has one dance: “The Roper 4th Wall Grin”. The Benny Hill skin comes with the “Fred Skuttle Salute”. The Lloyd Lindsey Young skin comes with the “HELLOOOOOOOO HACKENSACK yell”.

Tends to happen more in the build mode. People will send you a friend request and demand a 1v1 to prove they are better at build fights.

Mike! awesome time watching The Fortnite stream. Two things. You will enjoy this game 10x better if you put item slot shortcuts on. Instead of scrolling one at a time you can R1+X for shotgun, R1+ O for Assault Rifle Also check out Creative mode. You can play alot other peoples maps and even design your own. There's even tools to make 2D games

Bro if there's ever a shoot a man game that is a new experience like every 4 months or so , free to play (with the ability to pay for the things you want ) , with many modes from racing to guitar hero and Lego in addition to shooting people as your favorite characters and many more modes it's literally the best.......,. This season has marvel themes , before that it was basically twisted metal, and before that it had a Greek god theme with appropriate season based weapons and stuff. If you want spider man shooting peter griffon while Ariana grande hits the griddy I can't recommend this game enough. Especially with friends it's so fun , accessible, and easy to play for either hours at a time or even a quick 20 minutes

Fortnite is one of those games where the lower ranks are nearly completely dominated by bots. I think it's to give little kids the satisfaction of winning, because this game is literally targeted towards 8 year olds. If Mike thinks bots are players and he's having fun with it - god bless him.

Well, I can only guess what the people creating the game thought about the dancing...probably to do something different than the generic loading screen you would have preferred and give the players something to do in between rounds. But I like your idea in the description that there should have been the option to just have a loading screen of...I don't know...a Michael Dorn centerfold while you wait for the round to start. Those magazines made me think about what magazines I bought as a child or young adult...sadly there were only a few I bought regularly. Mickey Mouse magazine (which at least published some Carl Barks and Don Rosa comics in parts, so they at least knew what they were doing), the World Wrestling Federation magazine (back when I was really back into wrestling as a child), the Club Nintendo magazine (which in hindsight was just the German version of Nintendo Power), N-Zone (which I bought after Club Nintendo was not published anymore, a sorta generic magazine for Nintendo during the N64 days), PC Gamer (for PC games) and...that was it. I raised my daughter on NES, SNES, GENESIS, N64, Gamecube... all the classics. She's almost 24 now... and Fartbite is all she plays. Makes me sad. I played it a few times with my nephew... even playing "zero build"? I found it to be middling, at best. And super, SUPER easy. Good luck, Mike
