Seeing the gold dragunov brings back good and horrible memories. I remember my friends and I each challenged each other to get a specific gun gold, and my friends challenged me to get the dragunov gold. So I actually did it, I remember it was so painful but I actually grew to love the dragunov hahaha I even went on to get the platinum Dragunov title.

@@Transcendentalx Yeah, the Usas12 and Striker were the go to shotguns for most because they were semi auto shotguns that you could *reliably* kill people with unlike the pump action shotguns (Spas and KSG). With the pump action shotguns and model you were in for *PAIN* until you got the damage/range proficiency and even then there would still be times where you would shoot someone 5-10 ft from you and get a hit marker then get shredded due to not having enough time to pump the next shot.. Oh and the AA12 is on a whole different level of trash, like no one even touched it. It had a small ammo count, bad damage, and terrible range even by shotgun standards. If someone was further than like 5 or 10 feet then you minus well not even engage them 😑

CM901 was a great gun honestly. When MW3 first released it was used alot, then people started using the ACR. However the best gun in the entire game is a tide between the L86 LSW and the FAD.

Back then the Dragunov had an absurd amount of recoil while standing; it was reduced when you were prone. Nearing the end of the game’s lifecycle they buffed it and reduced the recoil. Got it gold before it got the recoil buff.

I mainly just ran around with an Acog scope on it using it like an MK14 or played hardcore game modes with it. It's fun to use every once in a while, but it definitely wasn't a go-to weapon, especially not over an Rsass, which had a more comfortable scope to use with none of that crazy recoil 😅

I used the dragonuv alot for a while. Mainly with silencer and an acog. It was actually pretty good if you had a really good trigger finger. I used it alot in the 2v2/3v3 lobbies and sometimes in TDM or DOM. All around it wasnt that bad of a weapon, it just took some getting used to. I actually used the PM901 alot back in the day just for trolling purposes. And youll never guess what attachments I used. Thermal and silencer lol

The CM901 was my favorite AR in that game, I felt like I had it figured out and never felt bothered by the recoil as the high damage felt to make up for it. I forget the class exactly but my favorite class was CM901 (Kick and Holographic Sight) with the Spas-12 (Damage and Grip). Weapons I personally rarely saw were the MK46 and the KSG-12.

I used the shit out of the MP5 in MW3. I had a gold skin in 3 weeks. It was all about the suppressor with range thrown on. You had a silent, decent damage output gun that did well in close to medium range.
