Fortune Lady Deck November 2021

From my experience playing a Fortune Lady/Archfiend hybrid deck, the biggest weakness with Fortune Ladies is that it relies on the combo at the start of a Duel. That is, Past/Dark & Calling/One for One. It usually just takes one negation to stop the combo, and also opening with Water, Fire & Wind but not the other two cards is a Brick; they don't summon anything big without expending your hand. Which is why the Spellbook cards for this Deck are useful, to reset, but I presume they usually leave you with no monsters. (Btw, I run 3 of Past/Dark/Calling/Visions). That's why I think "Dragged Down into the Grave" is a perfect card for this deck. To me the question is, do you run 2 or 3? The card allows you to see your opponent's hand (choose your synchro), discard one of their hand traps, and then draw another card from the Deck (and get closer to hitting your combo, at the expense of -1 (but Water's draw effect gives you it back). You don't mind discarding Water/Fire/Wind, and a Spell card is necessary for the combo so you can Set it before activating the card. (this is for the first turn btw!)

Question: Have you considered adding any of the Fortune Fairies, a Black Luster Soldier: Envoy of the Beggining, a Clear/Crystal Wing Synchro/Starving Venom Fusion Dragon or Ultimaya Tzolkin in the deck? How would it function if you were to add them? Also, thanks a lot for this profile. I'm gonna use it for reference material, since I'm currently in the process of acquiring every single Fortune Lady lmao

this feels like a shame to run some spellbooks but not spellbook of life...then again, you aren't exactly making use of too many high level monsters to really get a lot of value off life
