Thank you for another great podcast. You always fill it with so much to learn and see and think about. I'm excited for your growing design skills, and look forward to seeing your ideas play out. It makes me happy when I see you've put up an episode, I sit down and knit and have a coffee and snack and relax.

Thank you for this lovely hour of chat and relaxation. I do so enjoy it, you do inspire me. I think I will make reindeer and join you in the animal knit along. But your enthusiasm tempts me to make lots of the things you make! X

Hi Athena, thank you for another great podcast. You look so lovely in the "Fortune Sweater". That green suits you so well. Your "Porcelain Socks" are beautiful. I was intrigued by the "1x1 cable heel" It is one I have never seen or knit. I would love to try it on a pair of socks. Your granny squares make me happy, they are so so pretty. I'm excited about your new cable designs. Cables are and have been my favourite design feature in my knitting. I've also designed a few hats, fingerless mitts, and cowls with cables. With appreciation, Sarah

Hi Athena, just found your podcast and I’ve really enjoyed watching this episode and the previous one with Youran! As a fellow engineer, I completely understand the need to share nerdy-technical knitting knowledge. Excited to see more of your work as a Chinese-heritage knitter - I think it’s really cool to share the Chinese yarn brands, books, and culture on your English-language pod!!!

Thanks for the lovely podcast. I appreciate how thoroughly you explain your knitting process, it is very helpful (and interesting). I´d like to learn about changing the YO position in a past row, I don´t think I´ve seen a tutorial about that. I usually drop my stitch to where I made a mistake, and fix it with a crochet hoook, but that´s just stockinette 😊

Thanks for letting me know! I’ll try to make a tutorial video on this in the future. I drop and fix stitches with knitting needles only, as I find it’s easier. It’s possible to fix YO, K2tog and ssk and even more!

I heard about your podcast from the For Fun of Knitt podcast. I appreciated you talking about the techniques that you used/were new to you/your exploration of different techniques. I just joined my Radvent Throw squares together with a crochet join and enjoyed the process. I think I'll look at crochet joining in a project coming up that calls for mattress stitch and see the result. Your Chinese angle is refreshing after watching so many North American podcasts.

From my journal notes I think in March. I also made a note that Linda said you had done three episodes. You have to do the math but then you're good at it!

Hi, your fortune sweater looks beautiful ! And love the porcelain socks. I would like to apply as test knitter for the XL size but could not find the application form. Are you still looking for someone ? Cheers. ☘️

Hi, thank you! I have added the test knit form. The deadline says Sep. 28 but if it is too tight, just ignore it and knit at your pace. I’m flexible!
