Hi Athena! I found your podcast through your beautiful Vine tee pattern, which I want to make! (It will be my first sweater...). I just need to order the Sandnes Line yarn. I'd love to see you feature more Japanese designers! I love Japanese design. I'm not as familiar with Chinese designers. My primary problem with Asian pattern books is that the patterns are too small. My bust is about 50", and many of those patterns aren't size inclusive.
@SeedlingStitch22 күн бұрын
Thank you! Yes, Japanese patterns are mostly designed for average Japanese women’s size, but there is a trend for becoming more inclusive. Check out Michiyo’s 4 size knitting (Japanese pattern book).

I love how you change patterns to fit/suit you. That’s what people used to do when making a garment. You are so exuberant about your knitting. I admire your straightforward comments. Lovely podcasts/vlogs/sharings. Thank you

Congratulations on the promotion and the new house! I appreciate you sharing you designs in a way that allow others to build up and expand their skills as knitters! Speaking of TV knitting, you have to watch "Will Trent", it is a very good show, and his female partner detective has the best knitwear ever, especially vests.

Thank you so much! I really like your approach and I am sure I will use your idea for my knittings. I also like only charts, I do not like any descriptions, it's too long and complicated to understand sometimes what the author wants. Get cosmetics in Korea, they are really good.

Hi there! Definitely you can! You can join in the round from below the underarm, but personally I find knitting this cable pattern flat makes more sense (only cabling on WS, easier to keep track). It’s all up to you!

13:48 you could try to find a matching fabric (yellow or beige) and sew it under the knitted fabric as a see through protection - just at the lace part.
