Your reactions both verbally and facially, are just as good as the superb talent of Tori, as she is also doing the harmonic layering of her own voice. This young lady has a brilliant future ahead of her with the quality of music she is producing and can only get better.

And they are not just layering with repetitions of the same voice recording, they actually recorded each layer separately! you noticed by the subtle different expressions in each take, and this is what creates a fuller and more beautiful harmony. Great cover and good reaction! thank you!

Hey Fabian. I'm the trumpet and flugelhorn player on this video with Tori and James. Thought I'd answer a few questions... Just like the vocals, the violins and trumpets are layered in multiple tracks. There are no duplicates; you're hearing me playing 4 harmonizing trumpets and my friend Ynping is playing 6 harmonizing violins. Yes, I'm playing 2 different trumpets across my 4 tracks. The color grid is not off... one trumpet is silver plated and the other is lacquered brass. I use different trumpets for a blend of tone colors, as each has a slight variation in tone. For the closing section of the song, I switched from playing trumpet to flugelhorn. The flugelhorn has a softer and more mellow sound than the trumpet, and was popularized by the great Chuck Mangione and his hit "Feels So Good". I dig this horn the most. You're correct that we're all playing from our home studios. Not only that, this is an international collaboration. I'm based in Sydney, Australia, along with Ynping on violins. James is in Connecticut and Clayton, the bass player, is in California. Our drummer Yoann was in Quebec, Canada (but recently moved to France where he continues to collaborate). We've recorded many songs together as well as with other collaborators. You can find a bunch of them on my KZbin channel @GaryBadger kzbin.info I want to thank you very much for your reaction video, and for taking the opportunity to ask questions about the underlying musical and recording processes. Very much appreciated!

My understanding is that Richard Carpenter has talked with Tori. It's not just us untalented that think Tori sounds like his sister.

He Fabian! I still need to watch. I search with the word reaction so I didn’t find this until I stumbled on it. Maybe ad it to the description? Thanks. I’ll be back… Back… so glad you enjoyed it. Jim did that editing and production and so much! Tori was well…you heard her ❤. Glad I’m helping you get back to music more. It’s the fun part. Especially good music! That’s how I found you! Glad you stopped on the credits, it tells it all. This was released on 3/2/24 to honor Karen on her birthday in heaven. Be back soon for more! ❤ Joe

Come on guy, get yourself some more informed, music in this clip is not edited by computer, just multi tracks even the video, check the explatanatory video's. You're way off!

@@jbs256 I did days before I watched this Reaction by Fabian. That was the reason for me defending Tori's great performance.

@@hanhenderikse I misread it, sorry ❤️. She and they are amazing. I see so many attacking her it gets to me. Fabian is great. He’s been on the Tori ride from the get go. That’s why I come back and request. It’s a learning experience. He knows more than most that Tori is for real. Jim is such a wonderful addition to #TeamTori that’s is as wonderful as we could have hoped for. More is coming both Carpenters and others. I’ll be back for Fabian. Sorry again for the misunderstanding. Joe
