@@SNAPZ46 search for tyre tests that actually publish objective tests/comparisons with actual quantifiable data. The Rosso Corsa 2 practically comes out on top in wet and dry performance in the hypersport road category of tyres (i.e. power RS, S22, M7rr etc). One such test by Cambrian tyres demonstrates this, you can also check out Gripping Stories test. Though I agree the RC2 may not last as long, though this difference is likely marginal and probably so are their differences in performance characteristics if i'm honest. Wow! Been waiting for the second part and you guys definitely didn't disappoint! As for the bikes, I personally feel the S1000RR is probably the best all-rounder like you guys mentioned. I was lucky enough to ride it at a racetrack for a good hour or so, and while I absolutely loved it, it felt a little too clinical - a bit short on emotions. I mean, the first-gen S1000RR was my 'hero' bike while growing up, but I never got to ride it. So when I got the opportunity to ride this new one, I was expecting it to be a violent and brash alien...but it felt a bit too Japanese, ZX10R-esque. It was a classic case of 'never meet your heroes' for me, or so I felt. ...or maybe it was down to the fact that I had ridden the old Panigale V4 at the very same track a couple of months before riding the new Beemer. The Ducati felt raw and more alive. It was harder to ride but it felt a bit more engaging. Plus, I felt the brakes on the S1000RR were nowhere near as strong as they're on the V4. All told, I felt the V4 was the more memorable motorcycle of the two. I had high expectations from Honda, but seems there are a couple of things wrong with it. But because you say it's the new Panigale and harder to ride (they shouldn't have taken Marquez' inputs, perhaps?), I feel it could be an entertaining motorcycle in the long run. Something that constantly challenges you to up your game. So, if I had that kinda money to splurge on a litre-class motorcycle, I'd probably opt for the Honda or Ducati.

This vid and the road test vid made my chioce for me, ended up with the s1000rr. V4 sound for me takes it, almost went for rsv4 but couldn’t be happier with my choice. What a bike. Track days next year 🤟

An excellent couple of videos there gents, it was good to speak to the pair of you recently. You were busy but were kind enough to spend time talking bikes with me and lending me your mechanic! Cheers gents, I look forward to future videos.

Sure the BMW is nice, but it's seriously lacking a windscreen wiper!

You were doomed as soon as you said the BMW was un-crash-able. You jinxed yourself. Another very entertaining video! Given Guy Martin’s crash when he was with Honda, which he blamed on the gearbox, the transmission issues in this video are super scary!

Looks like an easy choice. One throws engine lights and roasts your chesnuts, one has no brakes, one has no bottom end and silly gearing and one can't stay on its own wheels. The other one sounds nice.

I do fine it absolutely ridiculous that the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR ( the reigning WBSK championship manufacturer) doesn't have a seat at this table...... look forward to seeing the 2021 test.
