Least this is an excuse. The paid “prelude to foundation” on Audible pronounced Daneel Olivaw as “Daniel.” Drove me nuts!

As a story that started in the 1940s and didn't finish till the 80s you could say that it was ment to be somewhat glacial and grandiose.

If your looking for mindless space battles you will be bores. But if your looking for Sci Fi written withintelligence mystery, and the suspense of a great mystery, it is amount the best ever written.
