Just a quick note on the “factory” method for fastening the propeller shaft flange to the guibo to the diff input flange: all bolts should go front to back. I had 3 going back to front in the vid. This would have zero impact on strength and performance, but I didn’t do it per the FSM. Simon at CBS Racing noticed and let me know. OCD guys unite! 😂

Even though I will never touch my bone stock 2000 GS4, I REALLY enjoy your channel. I appreciate the knowledge and explanations and the effort/determination. And most of all I appreciate someone carrying the flag for these cars, they are absolutely brilliant. Back from a time when you got extra engineering when you paid extra $$.

Thanks AGAIN for another fantastic instructional video! I have the same bushing kits, but I'm waiting to do my LSD conversion with the parts you recommended!

Thanks for your continued support in the GS community. I desperately need an LSD. I currently run really sticky tires as a bandaid for the lack of a LSD. Its fine in a straight line but if the car leans in any corner, its one tire fire😢

It’s so nice to have one! I love it. But dang that rear end wants to slide!
@johnshaw32085 ай бұрын
@@ForwardMomentum stickier tires will make the sliding much more controlled and provide that forward momentum that your looking for. 😆

Hoo boy I bet that rear end feels toight. Toight like a Tiger haha. Looking forward to the reaction video. I recently acquired a S190 430. I love it. Thanks for the inspiration brother.

Dude! I fucking love your channel. Trying to locate a clean blue gs400 for a very similar build once my divorce is over. Lol

Great video man. One question. Did you have any cause or symptoms that called for the need of subframe bushings. I’m wondering if I need them since mr gs400 has this weird rear steer or sway when I really accelerate out of turn or stop. Feels like it’s going break the tires loose and slide but it does that lateral g force with zero tire spin lol
@ForwardMomentum5 ай бұрын
I had really bad wheel hop. My friend gave these subframe bushings to me and I bought the rear differential subframe bushings. Wheel hop is gone!
@johnshaw32085 ай бұрын
I have a 2jzgte vvti swapped GS400. Chassis has over 300k miles. My rear end felt fine until I started making over 500hp. I installed the subframe aluminum bushings and the polyurethane differential bushings. All the movement that you described is now gone. I have super sticky 200 treadware tires and it just hooks as goes now. In closing I recommend the subframe bushings first and then the differential bushings if that doesn't fix it. Also please ensure all your suspension links have zero play and your wheel bearings and tight. Hope this helps.

Did you have to grease the axle shafts before bolting them back onto the diff?
@ForwardMomentum4 ай бұрын
No. Not necessary.

Are you interested in doing a manual swap in a sc430?
@ForwardMomentum5 ай бұрын
Do you mean for someone, or am I just interested in a build like that, in general?

Yes, for someone, if so we could talk price.

I’m honestly not at the point in life where I could take that on, but I may have recommendations for an actual shop that could do it. What region are you located in?

@bmor8907 I messaged MR Imports in FL and they would be willing to potentially take this on, even though they normally do not do UZ work. I would reach out to them for a bid. instagram.com/mrimports407?igsh=eHVmcGVoYnpqeHAw

Hello brother, How does it feel? Do you think it's realy worth the expense? I am a first gen GS300(2jz-ge and auto A340E) user, so my torque and power are quite low. Does the LSD work even at low torques? The reason why I asked these without waiting for the next video is that I will ask a friend to bring it of mine who will come from Europe. I don't have much time.

Yes! It’s an awesome LSD. I don’t even know it’s there until I need it. Highly recommend it. Be sure to use “FWDMOM” at checkout! www.cbsracing.com/
