Wish they had the Gen2 cars at least as DLC or something. They're much faster than their predecessors. These are the season 1-2 cars and they're not very fast at all at 150kW (200hp). Now they run 200kW (270hp) motors, which is quite a significant change due to their lightweight nature and extremely low drag coefficient.

+Lizzy Grant That's actually a misconception. The power curve of an electric motor is parabolic and hits its peak at exactly 50% of its maximum RPM. Having multiple gears would allow the motor to stay close to this peak. Additionally, the torque of an electric motor is mostly inversely proportional to its RPM. If you're at high RPMs you generally don't need that much torque since you're already going fast, but this is also why electric vehicles tend to be slower on the top-end.

Formula-E is a bit underpowered. Put one of those solid rocket boosters that are used to launch vehicles into space. That'll fix the underpowered problem. Couple of minor downsides: (1) No more throttle. (2) Can't shut it down.

So you said that FE has to work on top speed but FE tracks are small and tight and the cars do not need to go faster, they would not be able to do it on the tracks they have and it would make the battery life worse + FE cars can irl go faster then 140

ARIEL VERGER The Formula E race in Mexico uses part of the F1 track and a lot of street circuits are resurfaced for the race. Plus slick tyres have much more surface area giving them much more grip than the grooved tyres that the Formula E cars use, if they struggle to get temperature into the tyres they can always put up the tyre pressures to make them easier to warm up.

Holy fuck! Are people really totally incapable of getting around a corner if there's more than one car within 30 yards of them? I got online for the first time during the recent free weekend. Wow, I never knew just how bad things were in the midfield. Got in a lobby with a bunch of TX3, GTR and F4H guys, and they just ran away. Me, as a 6th place candidate, got the absolute shit kicked out of me by terrible drivers! Partly my fault though, as I was using cars that are actually fun, not just leaderboard toppers!
