C Class is one of my second favorites. The guys who like slower paced racing in classes have just been getting screwed over for months until this was finally released. Sure, they could go into the homologated hoppers but some of us just wanna have the freedom class ones provide. Also, the Porsche 550 is a solid grip car, you should give it a go. And the Alfa Giulia TZ2 or Montreal is a good car as well from my experience.

You've got that right. I've done pretty much only C class in Forza 4, 5, and 6. I literally have not played this game more than about a week since it came out. Now I may finally play it.

I've always wondered why lower classes aren't more popular. Not only is the racing closer and its more accessible, but the cars have a lot more character. Rather than perfect balance, perfect gearing, perfect everything with the tiniest deviation among GT3 cars (for example) you might get a soggy turn in but a great exit, or a well balanced car with no power and so on and have to work around that. Everyone loves to drive a perfectly balanced car but for racing against friends messing about I've always liked to play with commercial cars and semi-sporty cars like C class and sometimes below. Some games like Project Cars even restrict what tweaks you can make to the tune to simulate non-top end shocks and so on so you legitimately can't work the character out of the car. I spend more time tuning than racing, but its nice to have those limits sometimes.

ive been doing nothing but time attack in free play with C class and have found the honda crx with full aero and a supercharger with very soft suspension tune in the front and fairly tight tune in the rear for short to medium tracks it is unstoppable I have managed to lap RIO faster than R class 850 AI on unbeatable difficulty

Whoa, this was a very pretty stretch. The thing I noticed about this class is that you _have_ to stay clean to have a shot at the podium. You simply don't have the horses to get back in contention if you make a big blunder. Low speed isn't for everyone, but for honest results like these, I think it's a reasonable sacrifice.

I agree the daytime, dry tracks are the best experience. I wish Turn 10 would make a hopper with Forza GT with daytime, dry tracks. Also it would be a nice Bandaid for the no headlight glitch. Unfortunately Turn 10 has such a hard on for its rain effects, they would not concede that customers care less about the rain (and night driving with no headlights.)

Field spread is much closer in C class. I think more experienced players tend to play C because it tends to be cleaner anyways. It's so easy to put 1000 ft on someone in A but not so much in C.

i always hated when rain or night races came up. but i have to admit i've really enjoyed setting the dynamic weather in AI races in the formula Mazda at least. it's a good challenge putting the power down as the track grip changes

I'm normally not a fan of slower classes but after doing the spec sim in league I'm kinda fond of it. The racing is closer and although all the cars are stock in league I've raced some pretty good damn racers. I think league might be my go to for now.

I was quite surprised you didn't mention the Clio, I've raced quite a lot in the C hopper and the Clio is a very popular car. I noticed that when I went up to the enthusiast band on divisions, a lot of people were using the Renault Clio '16 on there too. Personally I love it, handles great and the tyres hardly spin meaning you can really power through fast corners and accelerate well after leaving tighter turns. It's my car for C class and it serves me well! 😄oh and I do think the C class is cleaner. Let's face it, the game has an abundance of people who don't know what they're doing and mistakes in C aren't quite as punishing imo

The races in the rain are ridiculous. They could've made it a bit more slippery and the spray is actually fine but the puddles are ridiculous. Every real race would have been red-flagged if there was that much standing water and it's just annoying to basically drive around it or just get sent off the track...

GT86 is made in the Subaru factory, so the cars are almost identical. Only some little bits of exterior and interior styling differ.

I don't mind a rain race every once in a while but the fact that so many people are using friction assist (great decision turn10) means they are basically unplayable at the moment if you want to win a race. Also obviously way too much standing water which just makes the friction assist situation worse.

Yea +1 for more dry races. Truthfully wet/night races add nothing to the game. They should also put in some code to ensure every environment gets cycled through for votes. Lot of great tracks pretty much never come up in hoppers.

Super GT, Can you make a video or talk more about your shifting? I've watched a good number of your videos and I gather you've just set your shifting to automatic. I could be wrong, its possible that your shifting is just that consistent but with how much attention you pay to breaking distances and entry angles, I imagine you don't bother with engine noises and gear changes. Also, that victory dance damn near killed me.
