Just like PS2 HP2, there are tons of hardcoded stuff for car slots that prevents us from restoring the NFS Edition for both BMWs. This hurts more than it should xd

This is very interesting and thank you for doing this. I've played the complete edition multiple times and its very nostalgic. Even though I started with the ms-dos version of NFS 94 I still find that out of the 5 classic NFS, the fourth has the most complete NFS experience. Its the reason why I'm gonna make an open source freeware racing game. It inspires me a lot this game.

Without a doubt, @hprcycl, you have done an impressive and impeccable job... I am still amazed to this day by everything you have achieved... If one day you manage to fix the missing "minutiae", such as the colors of the McLaren F1 GTR, as well as those of the Titan with the performance improvements applied... and possibly, adding the "SV" stickers to the Lamborghini Diablo... it will be the icing on the cake. What other colors of the McLaren F1 supposed to be? It would be amazing if they can fix the exhaust tips on the f1. It drives me nuts on what the graphics were supposed to look like on the f1 and if they were going to add a different style wing and or gold wheels. Maybe one day

@@dyllman98, I think you misunderstood my comment... I mean, both the McLaren F1 colours, as well as the Titan Bonus Car, need to be fixed, since many of them, when applying the 3 performance upgrades, make the colours bugged, among other things... there is also the fact that both the McLaren F1 and the Phantom Bonus Car have missing exhausts and spoilers, the Titan Bonus Car also has the ‘brightness’ of one of the exhausts bugged, and so on. These are little things that, if they can be fixed one day, will make for a really good game... just as it should have been released in its day.

@@dyllman98, believe me, it happens with some colours of the McLaren F1 GTR and the Titan Bonus Car... all I can tell you, is to use the gameshark commands yourself to check it with all the colours of both cars if you don't believe me. But I guarantee I'm not lying to you.

This mod is a 10/10 upgrade to the game. I didn’t even know there were multiple tachometers. I’d say this would make it in some ways better than the pc version but missing out on the longer career is sad. We can only imagine how incredible a modern version of this could be with hundreds of cars with their own events. Something like this for the Ps1 PorscheU would finally make it worth playing but it would have to change the horrible steering. Only thing missed out on was upgrades to every car like the Caprice that are hidden in the files and letting it drive in normal races.

I never personally grew up on the PS1-Era NFS but i played some over the years and quite enjoyed them. I'm glad that this mod exists.

Single Race and Hot Pursuit mode don't have Traffic option for all Raceway tracks.

yep, checked that again. On v2a version of the mod, traffic for Raceways is available only during Tounament of Champions special event. Maybe I didn't enabled it anywhere, since enabled Traffic slider forces it on Test Drive mode too

It's an incredible job that they've dedicated to a game to make it more complete, hopefully one day they can fix the errors and it can be the definitive version, it seems that the console version is too complicated but nothing is impossible, it will take a long time, I hope they get it, I hope with much patience, take your time, the presentation and the edition for some reason reminds me of the showcases of the classic era, ok yes it may be very obvious, but I love that it is very entertaining to see, it was worth it, thank you
