@@shawtmanXR I found him in A class custom adventure. Raced for an hour or an hour and a half before leaving. Trust me when I say it's impossible to keep up haha. I was trying my best in this video and you can see how easily I am passed and how I fail to ever catch up. The best part of racing in the same lobby as Grandma is watching him fly past everyone nimbly with precision and ease in a multitude of different cars. That night he drove a couple different hatchbacks. Also pretty sure he is a dude because they used to have a hand cam in some of the older videos. Kind of strange to assume someone's gender based off of their hand but you'll understand what I mean if you go find some of the older videos. Thank you for your response and the best way to get better is to keep racing. Also watching this channel helps a lot with learning when to brake, turn, accel, ect. I hope to see you on the track! I'll usually be in A class custom adventure under the same name you see here on youtube and in the video.

@@che3601 no, literally a LMP with front engine front wheel drive. The rear is driven by Flywheel Hybrid system. They actually planned to swap the flywheel system for Electric but Nissan just cancelled it. What a shame

Daytona is more B class dirt meta then A class road, would get slammed by actual A class road meta like Atomic Punk or Nova FE which is what most people seem to drive these days sadly, even in quickplay

@@MiyazakiHimself you're right maybe not the op car, but tbf it never get slammed by nova & atomic (there's still a little hope). Shelby still a decent all-round car in A class, I found it more stable in the corners than the atomic and by using manual gearbox will make it on par with nova. And remember this is forza with its fun loving community, people race each other to the shadow realm even in the higher ranking. The real meta is to avoid trouble as long as you can 😂

FWD builds are always very competitive......if using drag tire. It's pure Forza science, but it turns out the drag tire + stiffens rally suspension fits perfectly with FWD geometrics in A-class. Cars like 1974 Honda Civic RS, Acura Integra, and Peogout 205 R, they can pull out top AWD lap time easily on dry surface. With very good handling and super acceleration. However, since these cars are all drag tire build, they usually rely on ugly Forza aero to deal with the unpredictable nature of drag tire steering (but the result is superb), have limited top speed at around 270 (because no PI for gearbox upgrade) and can only be used on a dry surface. In addition, not all of them are competitive. I tried almost all inherent FWD cars using this approach, especially hot hatches. The lap time varies a lot. With some modern Renault being just OK level, to some meta-level racer like ‘74 Civic and Acura Integra. An overall pattern is, older hatchbacks with lower PI, lower aerodynamic drag, and lightweight are better. Within the whole Honda Civic family, older means faster in A class following this FWD drag tire approach......2004 Civic is surprisingly faster than EK9 tho. edit. After revisit my tune after 13 months, it turns out that 1997 Honda Civic EK9 is one of the fastest in this category. Similar lap time with Acura Integra and only behind 1974 Honda Civic RS.

Fwd and Rwd can be interesting but they'll never truly be viable overall. It's the horizon series its AWD or bust unless you're WR hunting then it s awd or rwd. But it doesnt stop me from using oddball cars and giving myself the challenge anyways. Even managed to beat a ford gt (05) with a Vauxhall monaro even though its lower on grip even with race tires and full aero.

This was quite good to watch, i wish there was a better balance between fwd and rwd vs awd, excluding awd, if you take A class on the festival circuit, due tonit being so turny, you'll come to find fwd will probably win because objectively, in terms of racing on shorter circuits, fwd will be better but forza is mainly just across large sections of road

Honestly, have been using fwd for a class a lot. It lowers the pr so I can add more power and grip. Plus the turning and drive wheels are the same so I don't need to widen the rear tires. But I go for more grip than power so I can't keep up on straights. Strangely still win

You should try the 2018 Renault Megane RS for A class with fwd! I use one for tracks with a lot of turns and it usually does well there :)

Speaking from my experience in A Class Touge Racing, you should try the EK9 Honda Civic. I'm not exactly sure how competitive in a normal environment it is, but in Touge it's so fast that it has a 13 pi nerf to make it fair. Maybe you could squeeze some extra power out of it.

I use an ek9 civic sometimes to race in A class, it's actually quite good and I don't get to much understeer, only problem is the back is non existent in 6th gear so it just slides everywhere if you aren't carefull

Tbh cars like the ones you used in this video don't even need Forza aero since they already have good enough handling and grip in A800. There have been times I've tried racing a few of them in S1, like the '17 (or '18) Civic Type R, and they did okay. But it's not easy.

Try to convert the FWD or RWD to AWD and then set the center-diff to 100% FWD/RWD and notice the difference. I`ve totally stopped doing FWD/RWD tunes anymore

Yeah, it's just broken. First found out about this when making an Aventador and E63 RWD in FH3 and noticed 100% rear distribution and it doesn't wheelspin much at all, but RWD had much more.
