Yeah like yesterday I hoped on forza for the first time in a year and my team mate just kept pushing me to the side and then I just wacked him to the side(not of the track tho, he also called me a noob and I should let others pass referring to himself) and for the next 2 races he just kept hitting me when ever he can

Had that happen the other day, I was second and teammate was first and he rammed me so I missed checkpoint ended up finishing near last because of it. Next event I made sure to ram him as hard as I could every corner lol.

They would have to figure out a way to determine who os the rammer or the rammed. Case in point. I get smoked from behind, hit someone else then a 10 second cool down as I kiss the wall avoiding another collision.

In my opinion, it's still awful, if you even tap the wall with the rear end of the car you get penalised, if someone pushes you to the side you get penalised, in my opinion they got rid of a problem but created another one

Trolls will always find a way. I think a penalty system that deducts points from your championship standing would tone it down since it's ranked. Also smaller grids tend to have cleaner racing as well.

I think they should just make ghosting more sensitive. Putting in a penalty system in an arcade racer is really excessive and a waste of effort for little result.

Because in horizon, car diversity is so high that each car has vastly different braking points and handing capabilities, so accidental bumps are pretty much inevitable. Sims don’t have this because cars in a class are balanced to perform really similarly.

Thats is the problem: in ranked we run by points (and its so anoying when we no have nothing after a good race or good position), but in general we running for fun, that is the idea!..., and we still having that problem in ranked becuse we not have a ban system..., so, we only have patience and good luck in our racing games...

Things that will never get fixed but REALLY need to be: 1 - Either turn ghost Mode on or off. Or fix it. It doesn’t really work inbetween as the AI doesn’t detect certain things like when someone uses you as a cushion slams you into the barrier but you get slowed for 3 seconds. And they fly away happy as Larry. 2 - Let us choose race type. At least between road racing and off road. Who really wants to do free roam Rush? Or cross country in general. Free roam Rush gives me high blood pressure and grey hairs 😂 3 - Fix team ranked where when you win the race finishing first place against all their team, but some of them rage quit the game right at the end so you get all points deducted despite beating the whole team you may end up with 100/200 points for beating the two dudes who didn’t quit.

Anti-ram patches only work for mostly front to back high-speed collisions but not side to side. That's why nothing really changed about griefers because they can still ram you from the side in a turn.

IMO, FH4 should include some game modes like : - purist (no anti-ramming, no ghosting, no anti-wall-run, only pure arcade racing) - something like "skillist" (anti-ramming, no wall-run, no contact possible, only pure skill) - sportsmanship (no wall-run, but contact allowed, only pure sportsmanship) What do you think?

I think in a way it's better. The very best thing about it, that one person is getting ghostes for too much speed difference, so they can't fully ram you, or if you hit the wall and got slowed down, they aren't gonna give you even more pushes

I only do trial racing now. Last time I did races for fun it was before ramming fixes and it irritated me too much with dealing with rammers. So may try since they’ve got this newer anti rammer system.

I think they need to give the cars a hit point bar (hpb). Sure, other people will be able to wreck you but will also be doing damage to their own car equally. Wall grinding should cause hpb damage also, and if another car made contact with a wall grinding car (car A pushes car B into a wall) that car should also get the wall grinding damage up to 2 sec later. (car A gets hpb damage also) I know!! Car manufactures would be mad about their cars taking damage but there could be a disclaimer that says: "All cars regardless of make, class or manufacture have the same amount of hit points and take damage in the same way".

Anti-ramming mechanism would be great, if it worked properly, but from my experience, there is 1 of 5 chance of meeting player that is just completely above system. Like my ranked race about 2 weeks ago, where I got rammed twice by same guy. First time i could argue that it wasnt conclusive for system, since it was side by side punt, but still with enough force to crumple entire side of my car. When i try something with half of speed of his, i get usually ghosted. Second time he went straight into me, front to side ram, which flung me acros the entire street straight into wall. Best part? Not only he didnt get ghosted for obvious f***ng ram, I got penalized for hitting the wall.

You played the modes in wich ramming should almost be “ok”, In the team battle it’s almost demolition derby type racing. I’d say the ramming stuff should be more strongly applied to street races and circuit, probably visually you’d get a better idea on those races too.

They fixed the full speed turn diving, but that's about it. I still get shoved clear of checkpoints regularly around rank 10. Ranked brings out the worst in people.

I would love for them to fix the broken ranked point system and save my levels (prestige). Whenever I turn on a ranked adventure, I'm at the same level as I started the month, even though I have level 6 in my system, but because the rating is constantly starting from level 13, it's hard to fight your way to the grandmaster. that's why I don't like ranked, maybe I'll see a fix one day.

I used to watch your channel way back when FH4 came out and remember how much of a mess it was. After a while I moved on with some stuff in my life but now that I came back to watch your content again I can safely say that there's a day and night difference to how things used to be and that is commendable for the team updating this game. Sure there's still rammers but for a game like this it is hard not to get them. Just look at Grid online lobbys or any NFS one. Grid is supposed to be professional racing arcade game but all you can see online is a warzone. NFS is actually a more casual open world game than Grid and FH4, which makes it unplayable online. FH4 is actually accomplishing something incredible for what kind of game it is.

You just need to find what suits you online. I personally don't play adventures much, but when I do, I go unranked and I choose deliberately slower cars. I also like to play the minigames (though Horizon 3 did them better), also unranked, because as soon as you feel like you aren't try harding and competing for a rank the lobby gets a lot more relaxed.

It seems like the difference between ranked and unranked is the fact the ranked gives you a number. People would likely have a superiority complex or something and want to protect that number, which is why you will see a lot more ramming/dirty driving in ranked than unranked. It's just an online number that doesn't mean anythng. I will never get the mindset of those types of rammers. I know there are those scumbag troll rammers that would just want to ruin the game for everyone, but then you also have the "rank protector", who feels that some random number on the internet that doesn't amount to much in the real world actually gives them some social standing and thus don't want people passing them to demote them to a lower rank. As the saying goes: "Is only game. Why you heff to be mad?"

One time when i was playing Forza Horizon 3 there were two players in a van and a truck that were hanging around at the airstrip causing all sorts of mayhem. So i decided to start a drag race and what do you know, the guy that was in the truck is there, we are both in dodge dart super stocks and of course he rams me into the left side of the airstrip where there was tunnel that was raised up and i was about to hit it but just barely missed it then we broke away and he came back again KARMA STRIKES HERE he misses me and leaves the race before i win it :D

honestly nothing beats the FH3 online adventure. I believe you had the option to lock RWD so you wouldn't have to go up against everything AWD drive swapped. also i think people just raced better

After the patch, they intentionally brake-check me and make me slam into them, so they get the upperhand and I get penalised.
