Yeah, having them indestructable makes the odds too stacked against Alex: as soon as he gets a couple cars chasing him he's basically screwed as they can simply drive aggressively until they manage to get a good hit in (they're in faster cars with nothing to lose as they can't be damaged and so can always catch up as long as someone has visual on him). With simulation damage on the chasers as well, they have to play more tactically - the first chaser to spot him has to decide whether to try the takedown (at the risk of ending up damaging himself and losing Alex) or try to get backup first, while Alex has the option of trying to shake them off by deliberately taking routes with obstacles that might get some pursuers to total their cars.

AI despawning is one of the things that needs to be patched. Also the janky hitboxes on rocks (I fear that the Fortune Island DLC will have more of the same terrain). But an entertaining video nonetheless! Thanks Alex (and chasers).

Survive the hunt where Alex, as per usual, panics for the slightest. Making it *really* easy for the players to spot that one speeding out of place car. :D This would have worked quite well if it wasnt for the very scars AI driving around. Still, hope you will do more of these in some form or another :)

I’m new to Forza 4, just started playing during lockdown. Found your videos, and really enjoying them. It reminded me of a game I used to play on original xbox years ago. Can’t remember which racing game it was, but doesn’t really matter... In that game, only 8 online racers, so we had 4 teams of 2. We used TVRs and Minis. 1 TVR and 1 Mini in each team (make each team a different colour). The object was to get the Mini of your team over the finish line. The TVRs hunt the Minis, knocking them off, or blocking, or you can push or try to protect your Mini from the other TVRs. It was really great fun. Best played on a long track. Hope it makes sense, and you might consider doing a video like that? Cheers mate!

Awesome, the concept works very well on FH4. Please keep doing it! Other suggestions of routes: Ambleside to Bamburgh Castle and vice versa Glenfinnan Viaduct to the Standing Stones Arthur's Seat to Tarn Hows Also, LEARN THE MAP

Alex not knowing the map in the slightest was always my biggest problem with Horizon 4 STH. At least in GTA he mostly knows it. EDIT: At least, the portion they normally play in. I mean, also, doing 70 for no reason when there's nobody around, then CONTINUING to do 70 for no reason as they approach him. There's a reason it took him 14 or so tries in GTA 5 to survive the hunt even once. He definitely skilled up as this went on, both in Horizon and GTA. I'd like to see how he'd manage today in a Horizon STH.

Is it weird that the game is set to mph, but the AI and speed cameras act as if it's set to KmH, thus the unreasonable slowness, since 40KmH is not even close to the supposedly allowed 40mph?

So they know where you're going. There's only so many ways you can go to get there. If they wanted to cheese it, all they'd need to do is block the ways in with one car while another slowly drives up and down the column looking for the one car that has a prompt come up. Course, not a fun way to play but it's possible.

Having the hunters off sim damage means they can just crash into every car infinitely without thought, unlike GTA you can't change your car in this one, it would be better if hunters had damage too or else there won't be any penalty to checking every single car since the only advantage you have is stealth.
