Sucks that playground doesn't want to officially implement these ideas as features. The hardest to implement i think it would be a video creation mode like in gta so we can make proper cinematics without workarounds.

Whats funny is in Motorsport they sorta did give us the cinematic mode since replays don’t pause even in photomode 😂

@@racdude01 It's still a bug and you can only do so much with it. Even without shutter speed in the photo mode if you stop your camera during the bugged replay, shutters will be applied. And there is no audio.

Man this was fun to watch, I love seeing how you make your cinematic shots for the videos. You have really figured out how to manipulate the things you see in game to make better cinematic shots. Also, the position reset trick can be used to get some of the reward boards as well. That one I love using to mess with people, but it's also actually useful. Great stuff Joe!

I defiinitely wouldn't class them as straight (as it's factually incorrect) but there did seem to be more long, flowing roads even allowing for the larger map size. Which are great but not when there's too many. The thing that turned me off FH5 were the lacklustre season events. They appeared to improve later but I'd gone back to FH4 by then to finish that off.

I wouldn’t say it’s the roads so much as it’s the map in general. The Eliminator really ruined any sort of interesting features this map could’ve had cause the entirety of the middle is just flat farmlands and rolling hills. Nothing interesting to make note of; the outer edges are more interesting both visually and to drive around. I hope Horizon 6 changes that.

The second one (interior shots) was the same glitch I discovered back in FH4. Then it carried over to FH5 where I used it to watch and highlight A.I. shenanigans like them phasing through a ramp and ignoring physics when they're far enough away from you. There was a race back in FH4 where it was a figure 8 Cross Country race, and the A.I. somehow got stuck in the containers that were there. Turns out the phased through them, but got stuck when I got close enough for them. I used this glitch to watch them.

I like to think I popularized the feature of the whole "moving car in photo mode" thing. Not sure I'm the one who discovered it, but I definitely think I popularized it back in fh4. Is it back again in fh5?

It was found in FH3, A lot of my really early work in the FH3 days relied very heavily on it. It also doesn't work like it did in FH3/FH4 by just using rewind in freeroam, you have to do the extra steps and now use the replay mode after a race (It sucks) Awesome that you added to it's popularity in FH4, the more people use it/share it.. The more we might see it as a dedicated feature.

I think one perfect feature FH5 is missing is a car spawn feature for event labs. Basically you being able to spawn any car from your garage as prop for the map. This way people would be able to take so many great shots in unnaccessible places.

You can also take in-car photos when placing props in a custom event. If i remember rightly, just have a prop and move the camera to place it and the camera lets you go through the car. Just have to do XBox screenshots rather than in-game photos.

Fh4 was Edinburgh if I'm not mistaken so smaller, sharper corners, more of a city racer with open farmland. Fh5 is in Mexico where ALOT of the natural area is deserts and rolling hills. I do admit though I wish they put in a larger city area somewhere (although the edges of the map have smallish ones) If they decide to make the map even bigger for the next Canada would be cool (since the crew already did the states) with a mix of mountains, prairies, snow, ice, cities and forests while still having 3 coasts. Then they could do a "northern" or "polar" expansion which would be sick.

The first two Photomode ones I had no idea about, damn there's some fantastic shot opportunities with that. Hot Wheels in particular has some really stunning vistas i can think of to use that height removal on. Really handy things to keep in mind, I have a few ideas I definitely need to make work :)

Eh i knew about the position reset glitch because of the bridges,also when its stuntshow season you can just jump to the top of the stadium. Another glitch that already worked in fh4 but also works in Fh5 is the Griploss cancel glitch: at some of the borders on the maps you can find mountains where you cant get further to the top because past a certain height ,the cars loose all traction making you slide back down. To get past this: 1.Go as Fast as you can. 2.Memorise the Position of when the car looses all Grip. 3.Wait till the car reached its end momentum and starts sliding back down. 4. Press Rewind but make sure you stop rewinding before the Griploss position. 5. If done right The game Doesnt trigger the grioloss and you can keep driving further untill the game Resets you back on the map. Using this method i found out that the highest reachable point on the main map in Fh4 is Not the Glenn Rannoch peak, but a Cliff on the Mountain north of Glenn Ranoch. You can see almost the entire map from There. Fh5s map is a bit stupid, it has many Invisible walls on the edges or instant resets, but the forrest south east of Tulum is reachable, they didnt bother putting trees there so its just empty vines floating above the ground.
