I think they put this song into FH5 on purpose. "We're doing it so much better" and "everybody wants to be us". They are so confident in this game with all the experience they've gained through all these years ("We're doing it so much better") and every studio wants to have a game like FH5 in their portfolio ("everybody wants to be us"). XS is not just rock, could include indie and alternative as well but yes i'd agree the song is out of place for that radio station. Probably threw it in for that intro sequence because it fits well. But outside of that 1 scenario which you only play through ONCE, the song is simply worthless, commerical-like and so it gets boring quickly.
