I tried this tune out. Handling and braking is great, but it's slow. It will be good on small technical tracks

Classic problem of a car with that much aerodynamics, but you are totally right. Compared to other S1 class cars, the GT3 RS isn't fast on a straight, but really shines in corners 👌

Sorry. My bad. Did not see you drove monthly rivals stock😂

Hey injust find you because of this car, I just get this car, its looking amazing . I will test the tune. Is it worthy to get this car to s2 or X? Thanks

I don't think that the GT3 RS will match S2 or even X class. Keep in mind that the more classes you are above the car original class, the more precise your fine tune has to be, because the cars base geometry and substance gets changed quite much. On the other hand you also have to compete against cars like the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Lamborghini Sesto Elemento FE which are going to drive circles around the GT3 RS.

Your tune shows me you have no clue what you are doing. So let me list your mistakes. I think you use slicks. Slicks dont improve your cornering, just acceleration and turn in. But neither of is necessary. You only need a good setup. You better go for a weight reduction and semi slicks. More weight at the front(better steering). You use race cams and valves which is a terrible idea. The torque only rises minimalistic and the power drastically which results in a lower mid range acceleration. I even chose the 997/2 mezger engine. It delivers a very good power curve. And with the same pi and power morve torque in the midrange(200 rpm less are considered). To the setup. You say you dont do a crazy setup. But especially this car needs it. There is so much more you can do with the car with the right setup. The cars default setup is so wrong. Understeers like crazy. Further you tune completely in the wrong direction. You give away torque because your gears are way to long. You have to much camber. The toe at the rear needs to be positive 0.1 so that the car can rotate. Almost every car needs negative toe but this has so much grip at the rear so it understeers. Anti roll bars need to be stiffer in the rear than in the front. Dampers need to be way harder in general. The aero at the rear needs to be relative to the front less so that the car can rotate at higher speeds. I also did a lap at Horizon Mexico Festival with mine RS at S1 900 and i did a 59,6.

The stock compound of the GT3 RS should be semi-slicks as far as I know and since I haven't changed them that point is invalid. I am only using Semi-slicks for high end S2 or X setups, but for S1 setups it's mostly overkill. In terms of the cams and valves I get your point, but the mid range acceleration doesn't go down, it just doesn't rise as much as the higher range acceleration. I am not a fan of engine swaps, so do what you like and if it's better just enjoy it. I like my engines stock. To the fine tune: I also think is was not optimal, but which stock setup is good? Not many as far as I can tell. Longer gears and the upgraded cams and valves should play together, as far as I know because more torque at higher RPM and longer gears should ensure to be longer at the optimal power range, or am I wrong? For me my setup doesn't understeer as much. Whats speaks against positive camber is that the outer rear tires tend to overheat faster and lose grip which results in a less stable rear end and acceleration out of corners, but that's just my experience. I don't like harder dampers, because when you drive through the city with all the sidewalks and roundabouts the car would unsettle too fast. I guess you tune is perfect for straight up track races like the Horizon Festival Circuit or some blueprint/custom race events, where mine more compatible with every type of street race. Give me the code for your setup, to I can test it only my track and see if I may be completely wrong. Thanks for that critical comment, I'll try to improve where ever I can. Cheers

What do you think about it?

Now, I just tried both tunes for 10 laps on the Horizon Mexico Circuit and believe it or not (did screenshots to prove it) with my tune I've done a 59.513 and with your tune I've done a 59.512. However, I've adjusted the aero and diff on my tune as you mentioned in your og comment and did a 59.493, so there's basically no difference at all. I guess it's all personal perference. For me, your tune was too aggressive at the corner exit. I guess too much diff lock and maybe a bit too much aero at the front or too less on rear wing. On the other hand I gotta say, that your tune would shine on city tracks with many tight corners, where my tune is more universal and also okayish on the straight. There are so many factors that you have to keep in mind, so you can't tell which tune is better. For me, both tunes are equal, where each has an own advantage. So I guess, that your first sentence "Your tune shows me you have no clue what you are doing." is not true at all.
