My apologies for the lateness of this video but here is the first car from the JDM Jewels Car Pack, the Toyota Sera! It's a decent B-Class handling car, top speed may be a little limited but the car feels genuinely planted in the corners. I like FWD cars like this, always fun to throw around in B-Class.

Thank you for the nice comment! It's a lovely handling car to be honest, might be a bit on the slow side but the cornering speeds you can do with this is really good. Makes for a good handling car. I met up with quite a bit of the RFAA crew in my online open sessions, they were quite active. Glad to have them here.

Also, you have any plans on reviewing a purist Ultimae at some point in the future? Edit: it’s a decent car, but lacks weight reduction and has high drag.

@@Revolution4826 I was initially going to review it but after driving it for a while it feels like the other aventadors in this game, it's okay performance wise but there's just too much weight and grip on this thing. When you face higher level racers it just can't compete well in my experience.

@@blatantlyjohn6234 I believe it's a 4 speed transmission so it's got a longer 4th gear. It's better suited for technical tracks I feel.

What happened there at Tierra? Race ended a lap early which is weird, I don't think I've encountered this bug yet. As a whole I think this is a really fun car pack, I haven't driven the Sera much as the others but its good to see it does decently as a handling build. I'm probably going to build one for C and then have one for B as well, maybe even one for A if it gets some interesting engine swaps. From this pack I've had quite a lot of fun with the Autozam in particular so far. Mainly kept one purist and then used the two bodykits with stock engine for another two in C and B (B is quite fun). I've also built a Widebody + I4 VVT for A Class, I no clue how competitive it is but it's fun to drive. I know you can also cram in the Racing I6 and fit it into A Class for a pretty ludicrous powerbuild but I'm not brave enough for that yet.

For that circuit I cut the last lap because it was just me being in front and I didn't want this video to be too long. The Autozam is actually good, I have one built for A-Class but it's incredibly tricky to drive. I think as a purist build it's actually lots of fun to drive, dare I say competitive in some cases. I think you'll have fewer handling problems in B-Class but the Autozam is probably the best out the bunch in my opinion. As for the other three, the Montero needs an engine swap to be a bit more useful and the Stagea is alright but haven't tested it yet fully. The Sera is okay though it does lack top end speed, it's better for technical tracks.

@@C1-Runner Ah ok that makes sense, I thought the whole race just ended. And yea the little Autozam is definitely the highlight of the pack overall. When I saw the Mitsubishi starting off in D I didn't think it would have much use purist but atleast it's pleasant to drive and looks cool, probably my favourite SUV ingame currently just based on the appearance. I've had fun with the Stagea in A Class with the I6 - TT swap but it's more of a safe option rather than a fast one. I think the stock engine can get more power overall but I haven't compared the PI when building for B and A with the swaps.

Have you tried the Back to The Future 1 Delorean? It is sooooo nice to drive in B class, especially if you prioritize a smidge more horsepower than handling

I did indeed yes, I actually made a video on all three of them albeit with different builds. They're actually alright to drive overall, I made one for dirt racing in B-Class as well lol and it was decent. They're pretty good overall. 👍
