yeah but im used to 0-60 acceleration with no bite at all, I play keyboard since forza 4 so I adapted to ways to gain bite on 0-60 like spamming the "W" key or have AWD

First tip is good. But I have a much much better tip for you guys on not crashing and swerving way too damn crazy. Increase sway bar tension and shock tension both front and back. (Unless you’re wanting to drift) is the best way.

You’re right about using manual transmission. I was addicted to grand turismo 4 and using manual transmission gave me faster corners, and it’s fun to play that way. But more buttons presses are required, I play FH2 in a chill way bro, not for lap times, just 4 funn

Yeah FH5 is a rude awakening if you’ve played Need For Speed and Burnout all your life! I hope this guide gives people the push to check it out on Gamepass if they think they wouldn’t vibe with a more “serious” racing game (even though FH5 is very simcade)

leaving this for myself ignore this pls 1. road racing - takes place on asphalt roads 2. street racing - like road racing but with more obstacles to avoid (npc cars) 3. dirt racing - takes place on dirt roads/offroad 4. cross-country - mix of road and dirt racing with more hazards 5. drag racing - takes place on asphalt road on a completely straight line 6. pr challenges (drift/speed/jump etc.)

What really makes Forza frustrating is that the game gives you no introduction tutorial or gives you atleast the basics. I entered the game and i lost the FIRST race 1000 times, which makes the player think that unless youre a real life car freak or Forza veteran this game is not for you and makes you immediately uninstall after 5 minutes.

I'm pretty sure the first race is scripted all you have to do is complete it. I have never played a Forza game untill fh5 a few days ago it is fun for me.

lol I'm such a noob. I tried out a super fast sports car and couldn't control it at all. Even the slightest curve in the road would make me spin completely out of control. I realized I've been playing the game while fully pressing down on the gas and brake buttons like they were on/off switches. The game completely opened up to me and almost immediately became more enjoyable once I started varying the pressure I was applying to both. In my defense, I've only ever played very arcadey (that should totally be a word! Stupid spellchecker! lol) racing games and have recently been playing Mario Kart 7 lol.

honestly my best tip is to just learn the differences between awd, rwd and fwd and try to remember where you power is being sent, when you get that, all of a sudden it makes sense why your awd car can be sent around a corner without too much trouble and your rwd car with 800hp keeps spinning out or just wheelspinning in the first couple gears

I am really not enjoying manual. I have always been driving automatic and have my entire focus on handling n braking and I have been pretty good in driving in all kinds of games, racing or otherwise. My biggest tip for people just starting out 8s don't be afraid of the walls! You can ride walls for position and slam into them going in to the corner ms way too fast. All to gain great position. It's a way to learn the feel and consequences of braking and easing off the throttle. It's a way to earn early cash and win races while you are getting used to winning the right way.

I know some people think that the intro isnt offensive because it isnt. Whats wrong with explaining Forza is not mario kart and its actually somewhat 'hard' because you need to brake. Well, i've played Gran Turismo on a proffesional level both with controller and steering wheel. And i gotta say. Forza is a full on arcade game like Mario Kart. It just adds a slight bit of realism. But still try going 320km/h in a corner in Gran Turismo on no assists (like online and tournaments,...) You'll get DNF or if your lucky you dont kill the car and drive like a snail to the pitstop
