One of the best features of 3 that nobody mentions: Offline Convoys! I didn't have to be online or have friends, I could honk at AI and they'd follow you to the ends of the map and back. 5 AI homies rolling together. No idea why they got rid of this. It's the main reason I constantly go back to fh3, it was player focused.

The difference is even bigger when FH5 graphics are set to Quality Mode on XSX or Extreme on PC. Minute 6:21 shows the wood pieces very low res, which means the game is not being played at max settings.

Graphics are better in H5, which makes sense. It's a modern game, made for the most recent Xbox X/S. More recent game, better looking graphics. When it comes to gameplay and playability, H3 is far superior. Both feature pretty much the same, H5 copied most things from H4 and H3 and expanded on it. If we were to compare H5 with H2, H5 would have better graphics because logic, H2 would have better gameplay. The graphics on H3 definitely aren't bad, they still hold up really well to todays standard. Compared to the Crew 2, H3 is way better.

Forza 3 for me. The overuse of reflections in games is terrible these days. FH3 also drives better in my opinion. The cars feel better to drive. Plus the game doesn't constantly talk over everything all day long. I wish FH5 characters would just shut the fuck up once in a while. Jeez, I thought Anna was bad. I want to drive and race, not listen to some idiot, trying to be hip and cool to the kids yapping their mouth all the time. FH3 doesn't just throw cars and money at you either. You have to earn them and actually use the auction house to get some of the cars you want. I like how you show details of the crowd and didn't notice that in FH5 they are all the same character with different clothes. FH3 actually has a bunch of different character models on screen and the detail difference is minor. Car color comparison shows FH5 is washed out looking with overuse of lighting effects. FH3 has much more natural looking colors and darker shadows. Everyone is exploiting all the glitches in game to drive 400 MPH and jump 40,000 feet. The leaderboards are filled with a million hack scores. After the latest patch screwed up all my settings and removed FFB for my wheel, I stopped playing FH5 and went back to 3 and 4. Good thing I didn't buy FH5.

In Battlefield V, you only lose 20~ fps by turning on RTX so I think Forza could achieve something similar.... though VRAM would be an issue since its an open world compared to Battlefield V which has limits

FH5 2-step flames suck though compared to FH3. I like the map on FH3 as well as the DLC. A lot of people hated it but i thought the hot wheels DLC was cool as sh*t. Better than that stupid lego one in FH4. I like FH5's map but it suffers from the same issue as 4 did. Color palette of the entire map. Its all too similar, so you always feel like you're in the same place. FH3 did a better job with the Color palette, having bright contrasting colors. Which made the game feel alive. The towns had an actual grid layout instead of just following a track. FH3 soundtrack is fire. Objectively 5 has better graphics but FH3 has better colors along with some car sounds/backfire animation.

Ray Tracing is using very intensive algorithms to render realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections. Still rather FH3. Better map and songs. Better WATER and RAIN and BLIZZARD effects. It's literally AWESOME, even nowadays. It's much more fun play FUN than FH5. Poor scenario. It seems small even they say it's the bigger one. And by the way, FH3 has the better DLCs ever. Even I like STORM ISLAND and LEGO (which was a big surprise). Fortune island wasn't better than Storm Island from FH2. Anyway, FH5 incredibly made me LOVE FH4, which one, by the way, I hated till then. Playing that new scenarios I really started to appreciate how wonderful are the places and environment FH4. Anyway HAPPY for have bought COMPETE EDITION from FH3 and FH4 🤣🤣🤣🤣 FH5 IS it's literally the worst until now.
