Regarding the map expansions, the new map would have to load in. But i think they could make it work if they have a ferry dock on the coastline where you could have a ship cutscene to a new area. These would be expansion areas but at the same time can be seen on the main map

About the starter cars, in Midnight Club LA some of the starters actually had unique paint jobs that made them look like shitboxes lol. The VW had mismatched door colors iirc and matte body color kinda making it look like the clear coat was gone. That would be a fun idea they could implement tbh. Another Midnight Club LA thing is that the map expansion was part of the DLC but it was included in the base game, with the actual content (races, cars, missions, story) being what you buy instead.

1:15 i had this with horizon 5. They also gave me the cover cars for a tonne of forza games at the start as well because ive played a few in the past, so that just dropped any proper progression and i ended up going back to fh4

I really like the points u made about progression cars and gifting cars. Like I think I would actually take more time to even play and explore the base map (kinda like the Hot Wheels DLC expect that was kinda more annoying because it is a HIGH SPEED TRACK and we start with a slow ass b class truck?? Like come on devs..) if we had to actually work and grow with our vehicle (if that sorta makes sense) to help gameplay feel much more memorable and satisfying! Gift cars are bs period so really hope they are gone in FH6 lol

honestly i want the progression to work like this.normally the class of the car is half of the time useless and is only used for specific things if they could use it more like this. Yo first get D class cars then after winning 5 races it whatever else you ho up to b,a s1,s2 and x class like the hotwheels expansion but theg are going to have to know how to make it work properly. because if you upgrade your car it can go above the class it was in. And i wish the map ft more alive and wasnt boring and isnt just a straight up flat map.

I'd love to see a beater line up for the beginner cars with a lot of in depth customizability to carry the player through the early stages of the game, the old Civic SI and Focus SVT models, toss a first gen Miata in the mix, start barebones, E class racing. Also, it would be nice to see some nods to car culture in the maps that the games take place in relative to their country. In thinking of missed opportunities, Horizon 2 could have featured Monaco, Horizon 3, a roads open version of Bathurst, 4 could have featured Goodwood, and 5, some stages from the Baja 1000.

1. If I wanted to begin with a poor performance car in a new Horizon, then I should be able to choose AMC Gremlin as my starter car, unless Playground doesn't plan carrying it over from FH5. 2. For expansions, I would probably to keep some of their gimmick like Horizon Rally, but I guess a single massive expansion would be more worth playing than two smaller ones.

The funny thing is we have now 4 great starter cars in the game: Volkswagen Beetle, Nissan Tsuru, Volkswagen Santana and the new mini electric thing forgot the name. We need cars like these to start with. I would make all the new added cars after lauch showroom cars and make money earning a lot harder. The playlist rewards could easily be money imo. Also one of the first things we see in Forza Horizon franchise is cafe; god damn it give us a cafe or similar place where to chat about cars and ofcourse for that we need moveable characters. C'mon

Expansions should add on the the main map not on a separate map 4. I want to add that I wish some cars had more customizability while upgrading, I want to be able to build up a car as if I would be building one IRL. But with most cars i can only add the stock Forza spoiler upgrade and front bumper upgrade to otherwise very customizable cars.

i always found the slower cars where funner cause when you go 2km/h quicker through a corner you feel like a god cause the suspension is literally hopping mid corner if you aimed it correctly (at least in forza motorsport 4 it did)

About the map... I agree it would be super cool to drive and open the expansion ourselves... but i remember at the time of fh3 reading an article that the devs explained that it was the limit size for the xbox one console... i dont know if it is the same for these newer games because they still launch them for the older generations?

The thing with the expansions is that when you start the game, you always start at your set home. It doesn't matter if you were driving on an expansion before, you always spawn on the main map. In Horizon 3 for example, if you were driving on an expansion before, you spawned on the expansion too after starting the game. If that still was the case, I think people would spend more time there

That happens in Horizon 5 as well. You just got to manually change your "home" garage to the main garages on the expansion maps. That way, you start the game on the expansion maps.

For those unaware, there actually is a good reason why we can't just gift cars to specific players. If you could choose a specific player to gift a car to, that could lead to people selling rare cars with real money, which is against Xbox TOS. I understand that some people would love to do pink slip races, but at the same time, it's probably for the better that we can't gift cars directly.

They should upgrade event lab so we can use a flat piece of land and Terraform it and be able to add actual smooth roads that we can bank, turn, and change the elevation of with an axis. That way we can make our own maps properly.

In Forza Horizon 1 and 2, you had to really work your way to the top in those games! but in Forza horizon 3, 4, and 5, they kind of just hand everything to you. I've also noticed this same trend in the Forza Motorsport games as well. also I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but in Forza Horizon 3, 4, and 5 and all the Forza Motorsport games after Forza Motorsport 4, you can't sell vehicles to get credits back. The new Forza games have such incredible graphics and a ginormous selection of cars to choose from compared to previous titles, but they fact that they sort of hand everything to you is one of the reasons I still only play Forza Horizon 1 and 2.

I heavily agree with removing expansions and just buying expansions for the main map, you don't have to waste time traveling in between with teleports, AND there could also be separate server for people who have expanded the main map. Overall if Forza horizon 6 is in japan, we could have for example a main map expansion FOR half or another part of Tokyo or maybe an area where we could do rally races well.

Best economic system and progression was in the FM4 You were starting with VW Fox(and similar cars), which is like 1.0L 50hp and can barely fit two persons? F class!(bring it back pls) But slowly, you getting better and better cars, and its not like you are getting class after class, you were getting different types, like with one level you get one free muscle car, in another - one free JDM car, and muscle car and JDM car were both C class, so its not like on LVL5 you are getting A class car Also different manufacturer bonuses were interesting, but they were OP in my opinion

Yuwan... I've had a super wheelspin that had 10k, 2k and 1k. And I've been in therapy since then. Edit: Also the map expansion is a really good point, but i'd still leave them as expansion dlc but in a way where players who dont have it can drive on the land, and players who do have it can do races, campaign etc. on it, and just put in more cars into the expansion so those who bought it dont feel cheated.

The only reason why I played the eleminator in FH4 was for: a) two challenges. Battle the oppnent and the map and b) for the porsche 911 PO. I don't have an incentive for the eleminator anymore after doing that. If anything, the eleminator should be scrapped. I drive on the rally expansion map because its the better fh5 map. It has elevation. It has a focus on paths. And now, re-watching the first trailer. Jeez. They oversold. People say the FH5 is just FH4 part 2, but I think its just a worse FH4. A good map makes a good game. The same goes for a bad map. FH4 has a good map. Horizion 5 does not. Yes, elevation changes can make the map a hassle (in terms of realism and high power racing), but its a challenge. The only parrs I drive on is the mountains, jungle and desert. Besides those areas, its all on the offroad expansion. FH3 has a less flat map. And I like FH3 for other reasons and not just the map. Instead of the eleminator, they should bring back some features from past games / new gamemodes like cat and mouse, car meets (that don't put the player into offline mode), road trips, cops and robbers, Dodge the chaos (one player will dive in the correct direction while everyone else in bigger cars goes the oppisite direction), time attack (fastest lap wins), etc. They can also focus on fixing car models, the PI system, engine sounds, updating rims/ bodykits, or whatever they want to focus on.

I think it would be good if we could upgrade the car. For example, from a regular BMW 320i to an M3 or from a regular Audi to an RS. In my opinion, this would be the best solution because the cars would not be that fast and sometimes the improved versions of the cars are uglier than the regular ones, such as the audi rs2 (in my opinion)

The big thing is you can take any low hyper car offraod and it grips like on a tarmac road going 200+, don't get stuck or bog/slow down. Than the more basic cars, i want more like a volvo s60 01-05 2,4 no turbo. Story have to be fixed IT NEED TO BE FIXED, and some more realism that a 1200 hp car is just spin tires if you do not know how to drive it and get beaten by something whit 400hp. And a limit what engine can be put in a car, take the evo can a 7,2l ttv8 fit......no so it should not be a option.

I think the first part like having bad cars is good but removing triple wheelspins?!?!? that I don't find right because it helps new players get more money at the start of the game and 'breaking the economy' ??? I don't understand how they 'break the economy' half the time you don't get anything worth above 2m max I mean sure I did get a Toyota tureno yesterday but that's like 1/500 wheelspins maybe not removing them but making it so u have to be level 50+ to unlock them would be pretty nice that would also remove a lot of cheaters hacking in wheelspins on alt accounts. (sorry for writing and essay but just stating my opinion in the comments.)

make every build realistic instead of only being able to add certain things to certain cars, realistically you can engine swap almost anything. be able to turn most cars into drag cars and not a couple select few that are the fastest, rather than letting people build ACTUAL sleeper builds that are insanely fast like irl. and be able to get out of the vehicle and inspect the car with good and stuff open so car meets are easier todo.

They have to make bigger more detailed cities, because Forza horizon five feels so empty because of the lack of cities. Adding large amounts of traffic on the highway would also be a great way to implement and no hesi mode.
