@@anti-tryhard -in gt7, you can tweak the 3d person camera and make it like forza, or you can keep it stock. -car handling model gt7 wins by a mile, and on a steering wheel it's not even comparable, forza never even once felt good with a wheel. -post launch support and microtransactions? You mean every gt7 car that's been added has been for free (lexus lfa, 992 gt3rs, 400r etc..) while in forza you need to get you a season pass i guess.. 🤷🤦

@@belhedizied8937 -The stock settings are still pretty horrible, and even when adjusted they still don't give at much feedback nor do they feel as smooth as Forza's 3rd person camera -I was talking about the handeling for controller, in which Forza is the clear winner. The overwhelming majority of GT7 as well as FM players use a controller to play the game, therefore the feeling on controller is very important. -While yes, on average Gt7 has added 27 free cars every year, and forza has 'only' added 2 per month (24 per year) with the car pass you got an extra 30 cars. A car pass is in my opinion miles better than a microtansaction system allowing you to bypass the grinding you need to do to simply get a single expensive car.

Both look great. I would say that GT7 has beter colors and pop probably because of the way HDR is utilized. FM8 has better overall atmosphere and the track and car looks better, at least to me. FM8 and GT7 have good sounds, but I really have to give it to FM8 for the way sound design is handled. Both are probably great racing games, and both can be enjoyed by everyone, and both should learn from the other going forward. Im not sure if GT7 has vehicle damage, but I know FM8 does, even if its not perfect. I love racing games and could enjoy either of these two awesome games. I understand people hate on Forza's Motorsport history, but FM8 does do a lot of stuff right, its just the curve to getting there is not typical...and rpg/sim racer? Yep.

A lot of FM cars are recycled from the Xbox 360 FM games. Even those that are from the most recent Forzas aren't modeled great, and didn't really get an upgrade. Some cars actually got worse than previous games. This is all actually a fact. Not some fanboy response. But I am a huge fan since FM1 in 2005. GT7 cars are more accurately modeled and even show extra little details FM misses. There are actual comparison videos people make going up close showing these details between FM and GT7, where GT7 cars models are always on top. The same can be said for sound. For the longest time throughout the life of Forza games, their cars engines sounded better and closer to real life. T10 got lazy over the years and the engines started getting inaccurate, or some engine sounds just being thrown into another car just because they had the same amount of cylinders. But now, GT7 engine sounds are more accurate to real life than Forzas. GT7 does have damage. GT7 also has VR. You can also turn your traction control up or down on the go as you're driving. You can change your brake balance up or down as you're driving. Has a weather radar to track when rain is coming so you can be prepared for pitting to change your tires. Has a proper proximity radar when cars are near you rather than those stupid arrows that FM has. GT7 asphalt is more detailed/textured. Most of thebtimenin FM, I see muddy textures. It often looks too smooth. Grass in GT7 is far denser than FM. Grass in GT7 also moves by each individual car passing by. Grass in FM looks flat, even though there is little 3D grass, it is barely noticeable and the draw distance of the grass is short. It pops in. The lack of 3D grass in FM gives the track a more flat look. It's like the tracks are built around Sonic Adventure grass. I love both games, but people like me who have a huge passion with Forza games and know how good they were in the past and have to witness the downfall over their last few games, notice alot of this stuff differently than those people who just sit back to enjoy a game. I can nitpick because I have been playing them all and see that this is not that impressive. Especially for how they marketed this games visuals. It looks like it at LEAST belongs on last gen. Not new gen and PC only. It's obviously not taken as a realistic looking game. I can never fool anyone with photos. But GT7, I can take photos in-game and it looks real without editing them. In fact, I've fooled plenty of my friends who never play racing games. When I showed them Forza photos I took, even after editing Forzas shots, they knew it wasn't real. That's an actual story fact. No FM has ever been photo realistic. GT has though. It's something I wish Forza could achieve because I want that for it Most of what I said about inaccurate car models, wrongly modeled cars, wrong paint colors, wrong engine sounds, engine sounds from other cars placed in a completely different car, can also be found iron the official Forza forum in the "FM Car Issues" thread. Plenty can be found by people who make these comparisons on YT as well.

FM cars look like plastic toy cars while GT7 looks photo realistic. Damage exists in GT7. Not a huge deal breaker anyways, because I don't sit there and crash cars all the time. But I guess that's they way FM is, just bumper cars and ai that doesn't try to race clean. Currently looking at Google photos and I see some really green grass around the outside of the track...seasons. learn what they are. It's not like the developers called eachother and asked what time of the year they used. My cars in real life as well as many friends are always shiney and waxed. A lot of us actual car guys have ceramic coats on them and they stay clean and shiney. You're always going on about how cars are always shiney. So what. If I had an option to turn damage and dirt off in FM like I do in FH, I would. I prefer to see them clean

Not to mention the car bouncing like a table tennis ball. Is that what you call "the real driving simulator"? Real life cars collect dust even the same day after washing. A car completely impeccable is unrealistic. GT7 version of Laguna Seca isn't only inaccurate but the level of detail is terribly poor. You hardly notice any difference with GT6 from PS3

Really enjoy the attention to detail in the car models on GT7 such as the speed chime in the Skyline. For Forza, Turn 10 has shown that they can model cars with attention to detail as well. Still remember when Forzavista was first shown on Motorsport 4. The level of detail on the car models was impressive on 360 era consoles and the developers even included the seat beat chime when you start the engine on some cars. The seat belt chime on the GM cars is spot on. Turn 10 can model cars to detail like Polyphony’s Gran Turismo series but it seems more about quantity right now as more car requests are coming in.

Gt7 has the perfect model of it. Forza’s is alright but they got the headlight and taillight materials wrong, so it debuted to Forza games since Horizon 3, not in the X360 titles. Wow, so impressed by Forza MS guys. even in thumbnail, realism = next level FM8. In addition, at the point of the Famous "chicane" ... the xsx? FM game actually takes a DIVE.. and you FEEL it.. this is OVER.... GT7 felt like a plastic dive.. LOOK for yourselves before writing, LOOK at this video from beginning @ first chicane drop.... similar inputs, SOMEWHAT similar lane,, INSANE difference of output. Forza Motorsport 8 feels like he DROPS the car and slightly damaged. GT7 plastic level driving, not to Diss GT7 running even on Max PC or PS5 or wherever, or Replay, No problem it's just not as Real. Everybody have different tastes and I'm more on FM side ( i didn't played this game yet so i judge by watching video ), GT is probably more realistic physics wise but I'm more about fun and graphics or where i can come home after work and chill out driving my favourite car without first to learn every corner on the track or how car works, i have real life for this.

That chime is typical for Japanese cars back in the 80s and 90s, whether it was an indicator for engine over rev or 100 mph speed indicator that indicates that you are speeding .

And track in Forza are build to be flashy and are not acurate, not to mention the flat and discusting grass texture and 2d tree in Forza. GT7 are not perfect but way ahead from FM.

As I said to someone else, this track CAN be "too green" in real life. Depends on when the developers scanned the tracks. There's parks outside the track and recreation areas. They're green. Looks "calm?" FM just shows in flashy track side things and gives an audience no matter what mode you play. GT7 has extra details like, if it's a time trial, not many people shown up like they would on an actual race. Hell, if it's raining, people have rain coats. Just extra details PD went out of their way to do, instead of being lazy and like "let's not throw in extra mechanics. Let's keep everything the same per game mode."

No gt7 is the better game between the two, and its easy to see with how many more people playing it to, Fm was better than gt during the ps3/xbox 360 era but they lost their way after fm7 was realesed, and gt pick up in quality, and gaped forza quite massivly. Because certain times of the year, the outside parts of the track are actually green. Developers from both games aren't hitting eachother up and saying "hey man, what time of the year did you scan this track?" It can be said fornother tracks as well. For the most part, GT7 does tracks more accurately on majority of the tracks.

​@olavofernandes7286 I watched a video of Nurburgring where the top half of the screen was real life, and the bottom half was FM. You know how people say GT7 is too saturated or too green? Well, in that comparison, the real life part of that video was really bright green. More bright than GT7. Lol. All depends on the time of the year. Some people...for some odd reason, don't know there are different seasons. Or maybe they live in some different country with crap weather, where they don't experience green grass and trees. Maybe they don't step out in the real world at all. It's pretty vibrant where I'm at 🤷‍♂️

@velikoblagorazymniy I know. I'm a HUGE Forza fan since FM1 release date, having every FM on release date, from deluxe and ultimate editions, playing them each daily during their times. Being such a fan, I've even pre ordered every Horizon game as well. I mean, Xbox is my main console that is used about 90% out of the year compared to my Playstations over the years. Such a fsnboy that I'm not biased either. Such a fanboy, that I know what I am saying. Back in 1997, Gran Turismo became my favorite racing game until 2005 when FM1 released. Then it was allllll Forza after that. I still played and enjoyed and pre ordered every GT, but FM became my favorite for a long time. The last 2 FM games just never give me that feeling anymore. So yup, I'm a FM fan. You're right.
