Forza 3 (didnt play 4) generally had the best UI , Menu and game aswell as Sound and music design of all the racing titles of that time and even compared to the new titles that try too hard to be like need for speed. The presentation was sooo clean, professionell and special with its futuristic sound and visual design and its White-Red colordesign that reminds me to this day a lot of mirrors edge. This game was like a drivable virtual big brand carshop. Hard to explain, just unique. I wish this game had newer remastered textures and id be happy. I spent half of my 200 hours in the Editor though where you could design your own paintjobs and even sell them on the onlinemarket for other players to use. so much fun

Its just so typicsl mid 2000s in its presentation, its like a vision how virtual car shops would be in the future because it really feels like visiting a big virtual european big brand carshop here in germany. Its so hard to explain but its genius and how these games should look. Very futuristic and not just like a typical game, more a car advertisement. Its awesome. Mirrors edge took the same design approach

This was the racing game that got me more pumped than any other racing game in my life...and it actually delivered. Pretty much flawless game all the way through from what I can remember. I'm really pumped for Gran Turismo 7 as well...I'm hoping it can deliver just like this game did 12 years ago.

Yes I fell in love with it back in the day ten years ago and spent about a 100 hours in the paintjob editor because the design and music was just meditating and unique. Newer titles look and sound too much like need for speed and are all the same to me. Forza 3 is the most unique, special and "professional" looking and sounding one in the franchise. The one where you could see that it really was made with love. And that they used a bit of Mirrors edge's color scheme and look for their awesome futuristic design. I wished the newer titles were like this or that they atleast remaster Forza Motorsport 3 :( There was nothing like this again even tho we are at Forza motorsport 7 and soon 8 already and Forza Horizon 3 or 5 (?)

That game had an amazingly clean, beautiful, modern and very responsive menu as well (especially for being from 2007). The mid-late 2000s racing games coming from Codemasters where some of the best the genre has ever seen.

@@fuzzo4475 mid 2000s games in general had a more careless attitude and design. Even serious games like Half Life 2 were very fun and good mood infusing to play. It still is. Dead rising 1, the same. Lost Planet the same. Even Resident Evil 5 or gems like Mass effect that came out at the time It was the time where XBOX Live was a real community too and Microsoft did a Looot to achieve that with the Game-Room, those Live Quiz Show games with thousands of players trying to reach the Microsoft Points of lifelong Xbox Gold prices. With IGNs Jessica Chobot and others having their own shows on the XBOX Live dashboard mainfeed. It was a magical time for every gamer lucky enough to own a xbox 360. they even started regular ingame chats on consoles with their Xbox live parties and shipping a headset with almost every console. I even remember the cinema room where I watched with friends and people from xbox a few movies together.

This is one of the first games I had on the 360 and was looking to pick it up again as I missed the variety of GT/Race cars in this. I've been looking for the Ultimate Collection in stores but to no avail, so today I thought let me get the default one and see if it still holds up. I remembered I had bought the DLC Sidewinder tracks, so I checked my download history but I was shocked to see I had also bought 3 or 4 car packs and even had DL some sample car packs...and when I booted the game up I was so happy to see I had all the cars I really wanted! (Old classic cars. The only one I'm missing is the Lancia 037.) I'm a happy bunny today!

Forza 3 and 4 were way ahead of their times. Had they just copied and pasted this into the new FM23 and severely revamped the graphics, it would have been perfect. Add in some new tracks, newer model cars, new mods etc, it would have been absolutely perfect. But nah, the graphics are barely better, the cars sound worse, and they added a terrible car leveling system that forces you to grind for literal hours to unlock car points and car parts... Turn 10 has failed the hardcore FM fanbase.

***** 6 was actually pretty good in my opinion and 7 will have more cars than 4 officially and they are bringing back some cars from FM4 one by one here and there we recently just got the MK3 supra and 1965 GTO which weren't in forza since Forza 4 which is nice and the supra even comes with a widebody too :) also Forza 3 is literally the same as 4 but with less cars, there's not really that many cars exclusively for Forza 3 btw, most of them are racecars and there's like maybe 3-4 road cars that weren't on FM4 from FM3 so I'm not sure why you prefer 3 over 4

***** Forza 3 had 3 track that Forza 4 didn't have and that was New York Circuit, the Full Rally Di Positano and Sidewinder Forza 4 had 4 tracks Forza 3 didn't have which are Bernese Alps, Indianapolis, Hokenheimring and the Top Gear Test Track it all depends on what you want personally but for me I preferred Forza 4's tracks although I did miss the FULL Rally Di Positano circuit, that one was sorta fun

Could you share the Top Gear Stig Garage car pack DLC? It's the only DLC I'm missing and it can't be found anywhere. I have seen that you do not have the pre-order cars, if you have RGH I can share the modified pre-order package with the 6 functional cars.

first off I don't share my account with anyone, not even my most trusted family members or friends. second the pre-order cars were not really worth getting because they are simply liveries/designs slapped onto cars that are already in game which is useless to me. If you want all the DLC and cars from the 360 era Forza games I recommend just emulating them as you can grab every DLC for them through emulators anyways. Only issue is that it requires a somewhat decent PC to run these emulators smoothly.

I recently modded my save and game myself 999,999,999 credits. And I bought every car and got the "Buy 1 car from every manufacturer" achievement. I had the DLC codes. And when I tried typing it said "unsupported" didn't Forza take the DLC for Forza 3 down?

yes but if you get the ultimate collection version of the game it lets you get every DLC car on disc 2

Ben Murillo actually what you heard is wrong, its impossible for content downloaded to your hard drive to magically disappear lol. also yes its a much better idea to get Forza 4 instead of playing Forza 3, although I play Forza 5 now because the physics are way better than Forza 4 in my opinion but the downside is that you'll need to spend some money for an Xbox One before you can play Forza 5. although I'm sure Forza 6 is gonna be tons better than any Forza Motorsport to ever come out, its to be expected for sure

eh, porsche is in fm4 but you have to buy the car pack expansion dlc until unfortunately at 2015 when it reaches end of life you can no longer get the dlc
