There is no license requirement for this car brand. Since Hudson motors went defunct in 1954 which was eventually merged with American Motors(AMC) which also went defunct later on.

It really is an I6, well, it sounded a bit I8-ish, because its RPM's are deep from its flat-head design. :)

They had a 308 cubic inch (5.0 litres) flat head straight 6. The weak one had 145 horsepower, the middle had 2 carburetors (Twin H-Power) and 175 horsepower, and the 7X racing engine had over 200, which was impressive for the day, even for a V8. Some say that the 7X had 240 horsepower, but most consider that inaccurate and will say it's closer to the 210-220 range. A very strong and powerful engine it was.
