Forza Motorsport is an upcoming sim racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios. It will be the thirteenth main installment in the Forza series and it will be release on Windows and Xbox Series X/S. Although it is the eighth Forza Motorsport title, succeeding Forza Motorsport 7, it will be a reboot for the titular sub-series, dropping the sequential numbering from past entries' titles. It will use the new Xbox Series X and Series S consoles to render higher definition graphics than its predecessors. Forza Motorsport is scheduled to be released on October 10, 2023.
Forza Motorsport 7 is a 2017 racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios, serving as the tenth installment in the Forza series. It was released on Windows 10 and the Xbox One family of consoles on October 3, 2017, with early access to players who pre-ordered the game's Ultimate and Deluxe editions.

FM8 came out with brightness and HDR problems, especially when you changed the performance settings and did not restart it, today the second update has been announced for November 2023 that fixes more than 200 errors, in short this brightness should never have been around defect and does not reflect the original idea in my opinion, there is no contrast and detail is lost even compared to FM7

​@@alexandervelasquez1444 I agree with that. I know what I'm seeing on Forza 7 appears more visually pleasing(at first glance) largely due to oversaturation, but there is some major detail loss in Forza 8 it seems, at least in this video. I haven't played the game yet.

Yea I've always wanted colors and vibrancy in games, makes it look beautiful to look at and be in. We literally play video games to escape reality, I don't understand why some developers push for "realism".

Believe it or not, but certain times of the year, summer mainly, do look over saturated " in real life. I can post a video of real life vs FM8 split screen comparison, and you'll see some really vibrant green vegetation all over Nurburgring. Way more vibrant than FM7, and even GT7. To me, FM8 looks fake. The lighting "effects" are cool, but it doesn't look entirely real. The entire screen is kind of washed out.

barely any difference, except huge fps drop, and forced anti aliasing, it got the cs2 look treatment (pink filter washed out look)

The fog effect which blurs out the image when youtube applies it's compression is doing fm8 dirty. Sometimes fog in videos can completely pixelate videos uploaded to KZbin.

6 years after FM7, the new FM is visually disappointing… It looks washed out, with ugly skies… Even the sound is lacking kind of a punch in it. You should as well compare new Maple Valley with Forza horizon 5…. so we would all see that this new FM is visually kinda weak :(

This guy talking bout the new Forza colors looks real. You can't tell me that the fake rear vents and the rear diffuser on the Civic Type R in the new Motorsport looks that gray in real life, come on! Hell google a picture of the Civic Type R or better yet KZbin it and look at some of these review or personal videos of the Civic Type R and I bet you'd say FM7 looks more accurate. I mean the red trim that runs across the rear diffuser hardly stands out. In real life that red trim gives great contrast to the black, not gray rear diffuser.

Something I complain about every time in the new FM because I own an FK8. Grille, eye lids, front and rear bumper "vents" and pillars are supposed to be glossy pitch black. In FM, they're brownish gray. If you zoom in on them, they have a cement texture. Same with the spoilertoo. The red pin stripe on the side skirts should be red like the front and back, but instead it's white. That white is also on the front wheel well also. The rear badge has letters smudged together. I hate the super chromed out shiney plastic looking muffler. Interior should be much darker. An actual black. It's kind of a gray in FM, or dark gray at times. The screen should be glossy pitch black, but it's gray in FM...

the gray filter looks really ugly on FM8. Why play on FM 8??? The only thing that is good is the dynamic weather. Everything else is ridiculous, it's ugly, the sounds are muffled, there are fewer vehicles, which are also less detailed especially in the interior view, there are fewer circuits, the single player campaign is worse than on 7 , the "RPG" system is ridiculous. I really don't understand the point of switching to this version.

On xbox serie x FM8 is mile over FM7. Better light, better details, RT works well, better palette color and shadows. Looks more realistic, add FOV setting.... Just incredible for 400€ piece of hardware

Imo most of the time fm7 looks and definitely sounds better, I think that the majority of the fm8 supporters are just easily led, and just because they expect something to be superior they believe it is whether it is superior or not. Just manipulation of people's minds. It may become better down the line with updates and patches, but as of yet, imo it isn't, and quite honestly why should we accept and pay out top dollar for unfinished games, and maybe have to pay more again for things like upgrades, or extra cars, we never had to do that so much back in the days of the 360. But they force you to do it now on things like Forza otherwise you miss the free games they may chuck in. Personally I still prefer Forza Motorsport 4

@@fenixa2z936 I feel the same. I played Driveclub and sometimes I think I became a "driveclub widow". That game is simple: good to drive, nice playability, not a lot of information covering the screen like in GT (it covers even the car! but I love GT), it let you go 360 with the camera, it let you compete with others even though they aren't online in your race, it let you config all tracks with any time daytime and any weather. And it was a simple game in terms of progression. And not to talk about the graphics. I was excited for the new Forza, it would be the first FM I play but I'll wait. If Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky got there, Forza can do it too.
