The Nürburgring Nordschleife update is finally here in Forza Motorsport! And what better way to kick this update off by setting a world record lap time on my favourite class in the game!

The laps are inflated because you can skip a lap and a lot of it is first turn fails

@hawkhoskins4250 I know. It's sad, but true. I still like the immersion factor of wheel/pedals. I really wish they could at least make it so wheel/pedal could be competitive. As it stands, they simply are not. The game was clearly built w/ controller-first in mind. Great for the masses (and profit), not for the die-hard simulation fans. :(

​@keyser456 to be fair, they also probably theorize the majority of people who have a full wheel setup have a PC as well. They're mainly trying to catch the console games so they've stepped away from even moderate realism in favor of easy access and inclusivity

The coolest thing about this race track is how diverse it is. Certain sectors he dominated others his car struggled its like 4 tracks in one. Like a queen song.

@@lilbin378 But that's why there's a loading screen before you enter the track, it's an asset streaming bug. Unless iSAD is running the game from a HDD instead of a SSD, that would explain it.

But i do sometimes see objects buffering in on the first screen after the loading screen so I just thought it was finishing up the load. But I’ll take your word for it, you seem more knowledgeable than me

Really hope they add this track to the touring car track rotation it’s the only type of cars I enjoy using on this game since they still haven’t fixed the gt3’s feeling like they have no feedback even when turning up certain settings on both the game and wheel software. Even then some touring cars have better feedback than others like the lynk has way stronger feedback than the Audi which doesn’t make sense but whatever “built from the ground up” I guess. I just don’t understand why every car needs to have its own feedback values that are wildly different even in cars that are the same type.

Just for reference, I went and checked my best time in the S16 License test of the NTSC/UC version of Gran Turismo 4 : 7:04.152. And I know it's totally beatable because the WR is under 7 minutes (I think it's 6:44.00 or even faster). I haven't watched any KZbin video recently but I know it's possible.

This track is so good for car leveling. But I live this track in reality. A couple of years ago I race with a girlfriend down the road. She has an SF90 and I swear she is helldriver. 300 on the Autobahn an she never brakes.

I love this track but it feels like the braking line is all screwed up. It doesn’t really take incline or banking into account because there’s a lot of sections it tells you to brake at where you can just keep the pedal down. Unfortunately it seems like the AI follow those braking lines, so even on level 7 I can pass them all within the first lap.
