The fact that the game was done in some 2 yrs as they cut down the scope is an unacknowledged truth, and throws their 6 yrs of work, to make the best game they tout as The next gen, and "learned from the past to make it perfect", into disarray. People know they had issues and re-dos. Pointing at the things not there and criticisms is just putting the correct stickers where they belong to compare. The wishlists of cars and their fixes is something they have waved their caps back at people like winners since yrs back. Basically a good: "It´s the least we can do." *tips fedora* Surely, the modellers can do it, surely, 3DS MAX, or Blender, or whatever you use, this will be ready yrs before you do new things. Then they release Motorsport 7.3, or actually, 6.5, maybe, actually, New Motorsport Barebones-Cutdown. 4 was A GAME that bettered the previous, FM 5 meant to succeed FM4. FM5 is 6 tech demo, and six isn´t as quality like 4 was either, and 7 is six refurbished. FM New is better quality driving, yeah, with a cut down game from previous, again. They kept running with the "will make it better", and after some stagnation with "will make the next One better", and now we here. I bought 7 Ultimate, then refunded because of the VIP for 14 races(it was?), and lootboxes. Suddenly, no can do changes were implmented into the UI within like 2 weeks?(or faster!!?). I still bought it later, and I bought a 2x cheaper ultimate disc to lend. The game never quite took off, and MS did their dookie. The drive and authority dwindled at T10, and meetings and expectations, additions and re-dos broke the development. They might make it great a year from now. Who knows. Still, 3-4 yrs of nothing, That includes some 1.5 yrs of their Expect news on novel race modes and FRR soon-- we would never lie to YOOoOU you know.> (!)FM NEW, smaller and more bare than before! Buy now, like the sucker you areee. -Honest I´d buy it for 20, if they keep coming up with the updates, I´d then buy the DLC at the intended price, but only if they put back the cutdowns from before, new as promised(!).

It is either built from the ground up or it isn't at all, for a so called reboot it's not even achieving half FM1/FM2's level of content while being recycled yet more broken than the last like the audio quality deteriorating even more than previous entries in the series. Forza went from the alternative to Gran Turismo because they used to not give a shit about car sounds now it's not even holding a candle to that standard, I used to make fun of GT for their vacuum cleaners but these days I can't even talk shit anymore because it's worse than modern GT as the old lead sound designer for Forza has jumped ship to make good sounds for Gran Turismo almost a decade ago. I look back at this entire franchise and wonder if this is even run by car enthusiasts anymore and not soulless, money hungry CEOs that don't care about quality at all who cashed in because it was at the top at one point.

My only issue with the car leveling is that you have to do it for every single car you buy, including if you want to have multiple models of the same car and there's no brand bonus. And with the change they made to that system it isn't nearly as bad as it was at launch.

I'm a 60 year old vetran gamer who played all previoud forza games and for last 15 years mostly on PC. I pre ordered Mtorsport and got 360 VERY frustrating hours in game before uninstalling. I think at the rate they work and the state of the game on PC, it will take at least another 6 months of updates to become DOG-SHITE! The lies continue with every update, I don't/won't consider it an option at any point in the future, games should be fun and this has been an ordeal.

It all started to go the chore path once the, not bad, but not needed, TopGear became a big partner with 4. I think even back then they were kind of creatively neutered, but it was entertaining, and lovely, even, though I didn´t care for it much. The shift to dignified racing, making old tracks dissappear(Camino Viejo is theirs, where is it?), and all that. Putting together a tech demo with 5, and improving subsequently while retaining drabness, no music(FM2, where youat), and prolonging playtime with pretty and looty, all that while loading and accessibility of features got more dogshit than ever, you will enjoy installing these upgrades(for years with no change no less-awesome work MS+T10). Flappy armed dildo man effin´ everpresent- Amazing that i have to wait for the fucker(AARG) to load to a podium.. prolonging suffering YOU MUST like, looking at your avatars(bit****) because you SUCK SO MUCH BE GLAD YOU HAVE OUR VALIDATION, or something. Suck our balls, player kantz(!). Haha, get fucked, order more coffee and pizza.. FM shat on people. It had promise, but they just could not leave the pretty hole in the asphalt they managed to make standing in place, as it was so unique. Debating what good Forza is for several years, and doing the same after 7. Mega-giga dogshit bare minimum gametime optimization was my biggest gripe bar the new flaws. FH was an extra level godly just thanks to the new to Forza upgrade bucketing. Like I question and doubt the work they did, as it just isn´t possible. They played "working" on the game, trying out different braised extras, so that they could say it doesn´t gel. Patting their backs, nobody who knows what´s up breathing down their necks. Come on, could not guess the dev time if I tried. Halo Infinite-same shit, from the same stable. Split-screen at loungeTzch(!!), 10 years of HeyLoU to come, And Now.. We here. Hangover, and violated.

The lack of attention to detail in FM could be attributed to that fact that GT is built by a passionate car enthusiast and FM is built by gamers. Also, let’s keep in mind that ray tracing is a marketing buzz word in game business right now. Ray tracing has its potential but it’s young in real time rendering. The very well done cube mapping in gran Turismo looks more convincing than the low quality ray tracing in forza. Bad choices but it’s not shameful of them to try to use new tech. Plus they could potentially throw an update that corrects most or some of the issues and suddenly blow us all away. Who knows.

Because games like Need for Speed Unbound, Grid Legends or even Hot Wheels Unleashed don't have the same level of detail as Gran Turismo, but at least the cars look really good enough. In Forza, however, you still have that ugly Nissan Silvia S15 from 2005. So no, it's not "built for gamers", it's just laziness.

I have two theories about that: 1_ GT7 and GT Sport cars are just GT5 and GT6 Premium Cars with better polycount, textures and lighting 2_ GT7 and GT Sport cars are actually and pun intended, Built from the ground up. But since in GT5 and 6 the premium cars looked already good on PS3, then the difference, while very noticeable, is still looks somehow similar due to the great job for the premium cars on the PS3 games.

Hello, I am doing and dabbling with some 3d models for car mods for other games: The models from Gran Turismo differ between 5 and 6, and certainly are different to Sport or 7. However, they did use the models from Gran Turismo Sport in 7, just because they just work. and they built their widebodykits and general tuning on top of these models. The mesh/topology/wireframe and the actual shapes are different is what I want to say. So yes, even PD managed to actually do what T10/PGG can not. Once the foundation is good enough that works for a game engine, theres no need for new models, saves time. But Forza is just such a let down because NOTHING is even half baked in that goofy aah wannabe racing game. They probably drank too much of that Todd Howard juice... you don't have to grind and buy multiple cars to have different cars. When you save a tune it saves all of the parts you have loaded. You can make a tune of a car that it is C class and save ti then change all the parts and make an A class and save that. Load the tune you want for the track you want, it will apply all the correct parts.

I hate that we don’t win any cars. We have to buy them all ourselves. In about 60 hours of playtime I think I have about 55 cars now? And I have the Premium Edition so some of those were given for free with the Car Pass. It’s ridiculous and not rewarding at all. Are we even able to collect all the cars in the game this way?? A quick estimation: Let’s say there are 500 cars in the game with an average price of 300.000cr. With 60 hours of playtime (single player only) I now have about 3.000.000cr. That means that if I want all the cars I have to put in at least 3000 hours!! There is no way the game currently has 3000 hours worth of content!! You can ‘finish’ the Builder’s Cup in less than a week!

i been playing on geforce now and it works totally fine. calling it an "unplayable mess" is kinda crazy, personally i haven't really encountered any major bugs after a few hours playing. i'm just a casual that had no expections going in, and the racing feels great. but then i go to youtube and see everyone is shitting on the game lol. is it that bad? the racing feels better than in forza horizon tbh, and much less overwhelming overall

so after a week of playing i'm just coming back here to say you were right and i agree with this video lol. "built from the ground up" means: they release the most absolute bare minimum game humanly possible and then build it from the ground up from there, using the player base as alpha testers. i liked the rpg system at first, but having to invest 2 hours per car to test builds is unacceptable. i love the how racing feels in this game, but there are so many basic features missing and simply not enough of a "game" here to justify investing time into it - after a while it starts to feel more like a job than a game. i could go on, but you tackled all the points in this video. @@thebinishere2341

Even now, after all the updates so far, it's still a mess. I play it on Series X, and I have issues, multiple issues. They released the new track Yasmarina, well it's a track they had in FM7, so really, it's not new, but their is a major issue with it. When playing the full circuit when you get to the second long straightaway, as you get about a quarter way down, the whole track disappears, and everything turns blue until you get to the end of the straightaway. Now, this happens while driving the Honda Prelude, I'm not sure if this will happen while driving any other car because I was too frustrated to even try. This game just pisses me off, and if I keep playing, I'm afraid I'm going to damage my OLED TV by throwing the controller through it. So I'm just gonna play GT7 while Forza collects dust.

I tired it with a wheel and I went from setting leaderboard records using a controller to being just average at best with a wheel , Odd as Forza games are the only ones that my track times suffered with a wheel while on Sims like A.C , Dirt, PG , IR and RR I was able to beat my records sometimes by as much as 3 seconds using a wheel leaving all the wheel settings at default and not needing to change the tuning setups on my cars .

My biggest criticism as someone who never plays multiplayer is the career. It really is a cure for insomnia. I don't think the basic idea behind the upgrade system is bad at all. It's just shockingly badly implemented. How are you supposed to build up a relationship with a car if you only get half of the car upgraded during normal play of the championships within the career? After that, the car is completely useless for the career because you can't use it for other championships. So you're practically starting from scratch. And so on and so forth.It's also important to remember that T10 made a lot of noise in advance about how great and new the career would be. And that's how it turned out...

The reused car code isnt that egregious. What IS egregious is that there is a 3.5GB file in the games directory of rhe entire asset library for FM7s UI. No, not a few things they reused for this game, NOTHING used in the UI of this game is in that file. Its just an almost 4gb file copied from FM7 just hanging out taking up space. Feel free to go look at it for yourselves on PC. I could fit an entire Indie game into that wasted space.

After 2 hours of play I deleted it , the game play sucks , the online play sucks , playing with a racing wheel sucks , there is no consistency , cars always handle differently you tune it then enter another race and you have to retune the car . For that matter the only consistency in this game is it sucks , They have haven't put out a good game since FM 2

Just to note I have been playing sims since GT1 , and I decided to try a wheel for the first time when this game came out , and was getting worse track times by upto 15 secs compared to a controller where I have made the top 10 on the leader boards playing with a wheel sucked big time . The odd thing is when I played A.C , RaceRoom , iRacing and a few others , after 2 or 3 laps leaving the wheel setting to default I beat leader board records I set when using a controller . Only games my lap times got worse was Forza games , seems for a game series thats trying to be realistic they fail for racing wheels , for the acceptation of FM 2 , kind of odd Turn 10 can gets it right on Forza 2 but not on any preceding games . I see a theme here with Forza

My save has been wiped twice due to cloud sync corruption, Its performance was nearly as bad, had just as many technical bugs. That game was a disaster and it took a year for them to even get to fixing it.

I believe that microsoft is paying all the news outlets to say its the game of the year even though it isnt good. It´s like starfield, i cant believe the day 1 reviews giving it 9 out of 10 when it´s worse then no mans sky. Well got this game on the gamepass on my Series X and now... No matter if I'll drive GT3 racing car or supercar / hypercar for the normal road homologation they're all flat same no difference. But if I'll jump on my second console PS5 with the GT7 game then immediately every different car have a different soul in this game and the most important you can feel this straight away. Assetto Corsa another example how different every car reacts and sounds plus more in the ACC when we get mostly GT3 racing cars but every different model reacts just different like in real life. So for now everyone who says... "Well nothing wrong with this Motorsport game because plays ok"... I'm feel sorry for them and that's the one reason why we'll getting crap games in the future thanks to them blind players. But what to expect from the US made game where mostly dominant oval racing tradition like a NASCAR and nothing else.

What I hated, no GT3 events in the campaign, You get to race the cover car once in the beginning and no events for LMP1 cars.

I will say, with all honesty, that their award in accessibility was well deserved though. Better yet, those nerds at Turn 10 probably know a whole lot more at making games accessible for everyone rather than making the game’s whole career mode worthy of playing for hours nonstop.

From a big fan of forza bcs of FM 7 and FH3 at the time, to an absolute hate because of FM8 and I just stopped playing. I hate every person in the every pre-release marketing video like f**k Chris Esaki and the team lol. I anticipated it so much, luckily I keep my doubt feeling and just playing it from gamepass. Only played it for 2 month and kept telling myself that there will never be a Gran Turismo competitor in other platforms.

To add insult to injury here I saw that this game was in completion with borders gate 3 I think it was for best game of the year. When in reality there should competition here bolder gate 3 should won because fm is a freaking trash and crap shoot game. Six years later and we get this mess bullshit of a game. Craptastic track selection and again no qualifying for career mode or free play. This was a hurry up make the players happy game. Like fm5 was at the start. Fm5 is a copy and paste game I feel like I'm still playing fm4 but on a different map. I recently stopped playing it. If anything I feel like that Mexico map should have been an add on or an extention.

You actually should be very, Very, VERY, SAD, FM is phenomenal! Driving physics are next level and put GT7 to shame. Top level drivers are saying the same thing. All GT7 has to offer is more detailed car models. I have definitely spent time on GT7 and physics are a slight step above FH5. FH5 has nothing on FM. I hope this ruin your Christmas. 😔

@@blistery1875 Technically, Racing Drivers would prefer one over the other. Some will say GT7>Forza, or Forza>GT7 in terms of driving But in content? They're not even close. GT7, hell, even older GTs and Forzas are WAY better than the new Forza Motorsport

Gt7 is much better for me, fm 23 is the first forza i have not bothered with, and it dosen’t look good for even now after 3 updates, i dont think gt7 is perfect not even close, but i think its a far more complete pakage, its just a bit sad that every racing game nowdays have bad single player and fm has by far the worst one to date and since fm6 the sounds has gone downhill, fm 23 is the worst sounding forza to date, outdated inaccurate car models, terrible upgrade system, low amount of tracks, barely any features, gt7 has better car models, car sounds, better upgrade system, where every part effect how it sounds, and exhausts changes visually after upgradijg them, a lot more customize options campared to forza to

Why don't you build the car you unlocked alla the parts for make a build for a specific class & or style,...the b save it then used same car with everything unlocked & build a drift or GT or different class & save it. Damn I must be the only person enjoying the game. I still have yet to encounter a insane gamebreaking bug after 15 hours of playtime. While this being said, I def think there is room for improvement but calling it utter garbage is kinda an stretch. I have played a lot worse titles on day 1 for full price that felt like a scam.
