They either dont have skilled Devs or they simply go the route with maximum profit. The differences are HUGE ! I find it even unfair to compare. But tbh MS was always like that, what the route of maximum profit? While Sony tries to make profit with good products (which orcourse cost more). 2 different philosophies.

I am noticing more detail on the track in FM. I prefer the car models and grass in GT. I prefer the treetops, pavement and curbs in FM.

If I compare the track itself, it's definitely a win for Forza. I'm not sure if it is largely the angle, but this particular car looks better on GT7.

Forza 16gb textures, gt7 8gb textures. Gt7 doesn't even feel like you moving. Check the first person cam, damn forza looks amazing

The size on the textures doesnt mean anything but how un-optimized forza is, the textures and trees represent how the track is irl you can compare it side to side with real footage, even GT4 nurburgring trees look closer to real life than fm8

The whole game is a bit overexposed. Its better with brightness turned down to 35-40 instead if default 50.

The biggest difference is GT7 car looks silver, Forza has more grey look to it, non metallic as well. Forza also has a yellow tint and grass looks so dry.

tbh FM8 is just inaccurate, also the tracks copied and pasted from previous titles. the track hardly has bumps compared to GT7, GT7 did a better job from my experience and i tried both of those games remember that during FM8 development they said "we're building from the ground up"? Too bad because its an absolute joke and you dont wanna ever trust them. Even if FM8 is being fixed each update, regardless this game is still not gonna look that great. If i were to pick 2 options, it would be GT7. Anyway agree or disagree with me if u want, we have different preferences

Definitely Forza win. Road textures pretty near none existent in GT7. Typical over saturated colours in GT7. The car in GT7 has typical too much emphasis to make it standout from its surroundings and does not look real. Not saying it looks bad, it just look unnatural and fits into an arcade game category

​@blistery1875 You should go play the game. Road textures are higher in Gran Turismo, and actually nearly "non existent" in Forza Motorsport. And as we talked about before, you can lower the saturation via a slider in Gran Turismo during gameplay. Like it or not, some parts of the year are very vibrant or "saturated."

@@joshberrio1020 Josh, you’re basically stating “black is white” when you say road textures of FM are “non existent” when comparing these games in this specific channel video comparison. GT7 road surfaces in this comparo are dark, almost shiny and devoid of mostly any textures. I continue to see this in almost all GT7 vids I have seen. WRT “parts of the year are very vibrant” then why is the sky blue always almost totally oversaturated? Look GT7 is a game and artistic expression is expected, however I don’t care for what they are doing. It’s my opinion, just like you have yours. That being said you are way off base when talking about small yet very important differences in the road textures of this comparison. 👍

And I should take someone who only watches videos seriously? There are far more textures in Gran Turismos road surfaces. If you played, you could actually see this. Forzas in most cases look smooth. Road surfaces are something you brought up. You. Not me. So I'm way off base talking about that? No. Your knowledge = Videos on here on more than likely a small screen, all while the cars are in motion. My knowledge = actually playing both games. Being able to stop and see the textures myself. Gt has more. And it is visible while playing. Play the game. See for yourself. More often than so, Forza is the one with smooth textures, making everything look flat.

Forza look good but not realistic by any means, GT7 still miles ahead when it comes to realism compared to forza, from the effects, the color pallet and how textures react to the sunlight , adding the physics in gt7 , forza is a good game but it took another direction more like a racing movie
