Six Month Update/Walk Around of my 2022 Can-am Maverick X3

I have owned my 2022 Can-am X3 XRC Turbo RR for six months now. Figured I would do a quick recap of all the mods I have done to it so far. Nice job I’ve had my max for about a month and a half put a little over 100 miles on so far mostly at Silver lake, but now the kids sports are done will have more chances to ride

Same code appears on my 2022 xrc turbo rr around 5 months of ownership 🤷🏻‍♂️ they said they reset the computer do some update to the system and it was good to go 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

How does the upper doors roll down? Doesn't seem like the zipper goes around all three sides.

They don’t roll all the way down which is kind of annoying but not terrible

Does the bent metal windshield work with the front metal bars that come factory with the xrc modal or do they need to be removed?

That is the bent metal windshield with the factory xrc roof in the video. It works just fine

@@JakeAlexander i didn't say anything about a roof. The x3 xrc comes factory with front intrusion bars. I contacted bentmetal and asked anywho.

If we run alot of these accessories such as multiple light bars, radio and other electronics, do we need to upgrade the battery or run a 2nd battery? Thanks!

Most of the models have an upgraded magneto now for accessories. Depending on which model you have and how many accessories, you are probably alright. You could check and see what your voltage is running at with all your accessories and know if you are drawing to much power.

Did you have to get a new alternator... I heard the stock one cant handle much and craps out fast

No, I haven’t had an issues with it. Im pretty sure the xrc and a couple other models come with bigger alternators though.

@@JakeAlexander I've never heard of or experienced any issues with the 850W alternator in the XRC, but a tiny CCA battery to run a winch was an issue. There is a re-flash to fix that.

How is the storage box holding up ?

So far so good. I have only got to test it out on back roads though. Haven’t gotten to try it on the trails yet.

The bow case/storage box is holding up great. Put it though some washboard bumps and hard whoops for hours and no issues 👍

THIS THING SUCK'S FOR ONE REASON. YOU CAN'T GET THEM WITH THE FULLY IN CLOSED CAB WITH THE POWER WINDOW'S AN A.C. AN HEAT LIKE THE DEFENDER MODEL. OTHER THAN THAT THERE AWESOME. BUT COME ON FOR THAT MUCH MONEY IT SHOULD BE AN OPTION. DON'T WORRY AN 200 GRAND SAND CAR THE SAME WAY?

The defender has it’s advantages, but I went with the x3 because it fits my riding style more. I can deal with the zip up windows.
