Not much in the sound. The BT20a has the flexibility of the tone controls . Did you keep the tone controls at 12 O'clock? Did you use the RCA inputs on both systems? Are you planning on getting the48w 5a power supply.? That would make a great to compare how the sound changes with the increased power. According to Z Reviews. It does. Thumbs up Martin.

One of the problems with amp reviews is that the result can change when using different speakers. I would say at least five different sets of speakers need to be used before you start getting an accurate picture, and, of course, the reverse is true when auditioning speakers.

I think Klipsch speakers would go well with these because of the high sensitivity

What do you think if an Ifi Zen One Signature is connected as an auxiliary and used as a Dac, connect a CD, by USB to a PC or streamer and digital to a TV to watch movies and Bluetooth? With a Spektor 2 or Sony CSS5 speakers. To start audiophilia in a 10 M2 living room? Greetings from Argentina!!!

I own a BT20a pro with a 48v power brick it sounds great. Is it worth upgrading to V3.

The V3 is slightly better but I don't think its enough to warrant upgrading.

The BT20A Pro has a warmer sound, the bass is more dominant than the V3 if you prefer that? I have both amplifiers.

I have both as well. From a sound quality perspective, it's pretty close, probably negligible to most ears. In the sound demo only thing I could discern was the V3 had slightly more plump base...but to me it sounded bloated or off. I probably comes doesn't to functionality more - the v3 design has less stuff in the signal path is a simpler design. I don't like having the power/integrated with the volume control, because now I have to turn the knob to same position between listening sessions. For the BT20A, I don't really use the tone controls and don't care for BT. In fact, I had a neighbour high-jack my system by connecting to the BT which was annoying. No way to shut it down. What I do like is the power switch is separate from volume, so I can leave the volume set and still power on/off the unit. I never found heat to be a problem but the v3 has more ventilation. Tough decision.

Bt20 a is only good sounds better than pro believe it or not..
